Named after Nicaragua's calling code, the Romeo 505 Nicaragua Toro Habano cigar (6" x 52) makes us think that Romeo y Julieta has found their calling in Nicaragua. The first-ever Nicaraguan puro by Romeo will take your palate for a ride. The filler blend consists of Condega, Jalapa and Esteli leaves which are topped off with a Habano wrapper grown in Jalapa. R y J used to be only known for their smoother cigars, but now they're showing that they can do full bodied blends just as we, if not better! Buy this cigar along with a five pack of a different variety and pay a lot less for each pack. Buy up to four varieties and save even more on each. That kind of savings is sure to put you in a "5-Pack Fever."

Romeo 505 is the best cigar in their line of cigars. They have a big winner with 505. The flavor is excellent, draws well doesn't go out. Actually think this smoke will be very popular for the company.

Very very nice medium body Cigar, kind of strong, but I can't say it's full bodied, it's medium body all the way for me. Very nice and creamy, a lot of sweetness and leathery. The draw is on the right side, but it's ok because you have to draw this one very slowly in order to get all the flavors, so the tight draw it perfect match to this cigar's nature. Very consistent flavor, no too much surprise in the good way. At about 1/3, some strange citrus flavor kick in, but it's gone after about 1/2 and back to creamy sweetness and leathery. A bit coffee latte. This cigar requires retro-hale to get all of the flavor, too light and very little flavor without retro-hale. I think this is a great cigar, I will add this to my new favorite.

I had high hopes for this one. I love the Romeo y Julieta brand. I've had some great Nicaraguan smokes. I love box pressed cigars...... The draw was good, the burn was good, however it just didn't have the quality flavor I was expecting. There's really nothing special going on here. I've had cigars that taste the same but cost much much less. Definitely not worth the high price tag!

This might be worst cigar that I have smoked ....... EVER. This cigar from R & J (who is one of favourite vendors ) is just plain awful, like smoking feces wrapped in Habano leaf So glad I purchased on Five pack fever, even so, this stoogie isn't worth a buck, much less $5.50

In recent years, Romeo y Julieta has added several fuller-bodied cigars to their line-up. I had tried them and liked them. The 505 is the best of the bunch. Smooth and nicely flavored.
