Several of the cigars canoed on me when I smoked them. Also , I like to smoke them soon after they arrive, like a week after, I have found that they needed to be in my humidor for at least a month to six weeks before they became a good smoke and even then they were not the best tasting.

I have my golf cigars, and my back porch cigars when I am more relaxed. These Rocky Patels are definitely the back porch cigar. They are smooth and tasty.

I have received this cigar numerous times in sampler packs and also as part of the Cigar Tour. I never have liked it. The last one came with my Cigar Tour (issue #76). I had to keep lighting it because it just wouldn't burn right. Finally I threw it away. This is by far the worst cigar (except for the flavored cigars) that I have ever received from the Cigar Tour.
