Rocky Patel Edge Torpedo Corojo cigar is the product of Rocky's collaboration with Nestor Plasencia, the largest tobacco grower in Central America. Together, they combine their talents to create Edge, an earthy, wonderfully spicy cigar with a cedar base and tangy finish. Designed for seasoned smokers, Rocky Patel Edge employs a Cuban-seed, Honduran grown Corojo wrapper that provides a peppery flavor with a hint of sweetness. The long fillers are slowly aged for five full years. Medium to full bodied; this bold smoke is full of flavor yet is well balanced with notes of dark spice, espresso and a long full finish.

This is my "Go To" cigar.
This is daily smoker. It's almost always an easy light and good draw.

Always a great smoke!
Smokes like a top dollar cigar for a fair price!

One of my favorites
I been smoking Rocky Patel Edges for years because they are one of my FAVORITE cigars. They are usually included in every order in one type or another and I can't remember over the years having any consistent problems with them. Have I had a bad cigar maybe but nothing that is memberable to make me want to stop smoking them.

This was one of the worst tasting cigars I have ever sampled. I only bought one and it may have just been a bad one. Either way, I will not be chancing it with one of these again. Very bitter and harsh to my taste. I couldn't believe I was smoking a RP.

Rocky has lost his Edge
I first enjoyed one of these sticks from a sampler and decided to order a box. I was eager to have them in my humi, but was soon disappointed by the inconsistencies. The good ones are very good... Excellent flavor, draw, burn, and smooth all the way to the nub: everything a 91 rated cigar should be. But the bad ones are simply unsmokable. They may light fine but soon become hard to draw, tend to go out, and then are difficult to relight. Maybe I just got a bad box, but I'm not investing in another just to satisfy my curiosity.

A Surprise
Not much of a fan of Maduro wrappers but this was a pleasant surprise. Amazingly smooth for a medium-full flavor smoke.
