The Rocky Patel 2008 Autumn Collection Churchill Maduro (7" x 50) is a medium bodied cigar handcrafted in Nicaragua and was made to replicate Rocky's first seasonal Autumn Collection that debuted in 2008 to stellar reviews. Rocky Patel took the same super premium batch of 3 year aged Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan long fillers, along with Cameroon binder and kicked it up a notch by wrapping it in a dark Maduro wrapper. The Autumn Collection Maduro is a limited production release so get them while you can.

My favorite evening cigar. Mild but still aromatic. Price is a factor for me, these are affordable.

After reading about and selecting this cigar, it is its aged aroma of well-cured tobacco upon opening its packaging. After cut and turned on I knew its oily texture came from an artist's piece. Such smell is friendly to the palate, its exquisite aroma revealed to me the content of its delicate sweet leaves nuances, fine wood buttery, that of old tobacco barns. In Joy!

I've always viewed Rocky Patel and CAO as the two most adventurous companies always releasing new blends. I'm a fan of many RP cigars, especially the Decade. This is an interesting cigar, but doesn't rank up there with the top three RPs. I think I would prefer a smaller size as the finish is a little short. Still, I enjoy these seasonal releases.
