These sticks are a nice quick little burn. The flavor is good, but not as rich as the full length factory labeled version. Unlike the 1990 & 1992 2nds, the roll and draw is very nice. I've smoked a dozen without a single "run". These RP 2003 2nds are a good option.

I'm pretty much sold on anything in the RP Vintage line. I bought these for the first time as an everyday smoke. Been pleased with what I've smoked so far. They a fumas, so the bar was not set to high. As always, quick responsive service. I'll be smoking these through the holidays.

Firsy one was so dry it burned worse than this one in photo attached that I am currently smoking! This second one is after trying to rehydrate them in humidor for 2-3 weeks on advice from Thompson Cigar customer service rep saying that sometimes they dry out during shipping (which was only 4 days). I will be closing my account soon unless you'd like to send me some new ones.

Camaroon does not have the full flavor I prefer in a wrapper, but construction was okay. Burns rather fast, but perhaps arrived a little dry and I didn't give them enough time to sit in the humidor.

Absolutely delicious. I love the Rocky Patel fumas. I buy all of them as long as I like the original version.

Relaxing smoke

My wife and I smoke on the weekends and although these are not Patel's top of the line, they have good flavor at a good price.

I had really great results with the 1990 maduros and was anxious to try these with all of the good reviews but my experience was not like others. I ordered the 1992 and 2003 rocky patels and had same issues with both. I cut the first and it burned very rapidly burning my fingers while inhaling. Then I constantly spit out pieces then it would fall apart the last 3 inches. I punched the next two and had exactly the same results. These are my first returned cigars.

Not sure how they came up with these cigars retail $135! Still at $2 a throw it is not a tight cigar and you will burn through this in no time. It would be a good value at $1 for a quick smoke if that is what you are looking for. Do not cut end with a cutter as the paper will rip.

I can't believe Rocky Patel is able to deliver this much quality for less than factory throw-outs. Every single one had a great draw and great taste. One out of four or five had an irregular burn, but at these prices, I'm not complaining. I've already ordered them twice and will probably do it again in 2018 when the upstate NY weather is good enough to smoke on the patio again.

Easy smoke with a good flavor profile and burn.

Big fan of all Rocky Patel, Cammacho and Alex Bradley products. Thought I'd try these as a daily smoker. Because of the nature of this "special" I thought they'd be similar to Fuentes curly heads. About 1/2 of them had wrappers coming apart after clipping so I switched to punch. On 2 of the punches, the tobacco spilled out like loose tea. In fact, the last quarter of the cigar had to be pitched due to wrapper issues. When I cracked them open, more of the tea leaves came out. These were not seconds, these were table scraps shoved into an inferior wrapper. I will now refer to them at the Hot Pockets of cigars.

This was a good smoke and all my friends enjoyed it.

This is a really nice cigar at a great price. If you like Rocky Patel 2003, you should really give this cigar a try. A similar cigar at a great price. I bought two bundles of these, which is a lot for an occasional smoker.

Draws so bad my cheeks hurt. Would not stay lit. Seem well constructed yet this is a terrible cigar. I get it I paid so little for the cigar. However I would expect a functioning cigar at any price.
