These sticks are a nice quick little burn. The flavor is good, but not as rich as the full length factory labeled version. Unlike the 1990 & 1992 2nds, the roll and draw is very nice. I've smoked a dozen without a single "run". These RP 2003 2nds are a good option.

Firsy one was so dry it burned worse than this one in photo attached that I am currently smoking! This second one is after trying to rehydrate them in humidor for 2-3 weeks on advice from Thompson Cigar customer service rep saying that sometimes they dry out during shipping (which was only 4 days). I will be closing my account soon unless you'd like to send me some new ones.

Camaroon does not have the full flavor I prefer in a wrapper, but construction was okay. Burns rather fast, but perhaps arrived a little dry and I didn't give them enough time to sit in the humidor.

I had really great results with the 1990 maduros and was anxious to try these with all of the good reviews but my experience was not like others. I ordered the 1992 and 2003 rocky patels and had same issues with both. I cut the first and it burned very rapidly burning my fingers while inhaling. Then I constantly spit out pieces then it would fall apart the last 3 inches. I punched the next two and had exactly the same results. These are my first returned cigars.

Not sure how they came up with these cigars retail $135! Still at $2 a throw it is not a tight cigar and you will burn through this in no time. It would be a good value at $1 for a quick smoke if that is what you are looking for. Do not cut end with a cutter as the paper will rip.
