Dry cigars that have a hard time staying lit. If you leave it for 2-3 minutes you relight. Usually have a good bunch with PDR's but 2nd batch in a row that is tough to draw and keep li.

Can be inconsistent in the texture and draw, but a good value for the money. I enjoy smoking them when I’m driving my convertible.

You may have to impale it with a screwdriver or pipe-reamer to get the draw where you want it, but the taste and burn are reliable. These are excellent for the money.

Terrible! 3rd order in a row with dry sticks, wrappers flaking off, banding glued to wrapper, etc... wish I had the time to sit and return every order. Shipping update requests have been ignored/misapplied a few times too and takes forever to get thru Tele-prompts/call hold system.

I keep trying other sampler cigars ( just finished trying the Victor 55 Cameroons ) but in the end I always come back to this one brand. I'm sure there are better $$ cigars out there but these do just fine for a working stiff like me.

Got it as part of a sampler. Terribly dry. Even 2 weeks in my humidor could not revive it. Otherwise it might have been not too bad.

Approximately 1 out of 4 in the batch are much below any cigar standards The wrapper comes loose making it almost impossible to smoke. Very embarrassing when you are smoking with a friend and it happens to him. I purchase quite a few cigars from Thompson however, I think the time has come to switch back to my previous provider. Never had these problems at all??

I find these work well for late afternoon or early evening. They're stronger than the Connecticuts with more complexity. I will probably get them again.

I can't afford to buy premium cigars all the time. You're looking at $10 A stick most of the time. If I buy right I can get these for just over a buck a stick ! I'm impressed with these PDRs. It's weird that we don't get PDR cigars here on the west coast. My buddy who lives in Tampa, Florida turned me on to the PDR cigars. I was happy to see that Thompson picked up the PDR line. The cigar is a great daily smoke that won't kill your wallet. The taste is great and burns well. I've had all the wraps for this cigar and found out that I like the Cameroon wrapper the best. So next time you are looking for some daily smokes, give the PDR value line a try.

I've smoked cigars costing way more that didn't compare to this Cameroon. Really great flavor and pleasure of smoking only heightened knowing that so little money was going up in smoke. Only minor complaint is that a couple in bunch had less than perfect wrappers, but not a big deal--just a super value line, true to it's name.

It's nicely wrapped. However, it burns very uneven and the taste is far from enjoyable. Personally, I'm unsatisfied with all 5 that I smoked and will not be smoking the other 20 (from 25 pack).

It's an OK stick with good flavor.. Lots of smoke and the sweet spot is 2/3 way in. Smoked about 6 of these and gave a few away.. Some re squishy, some are firm, most never burn without correction.. but they are tasty for less than a buck a stick from TC aucction site.

Got this cigar in a sampler, was looking forward to smoking it, wrapper started falling apart after the first quarter, it burned unevenly for the entire amount I smoked, about half the stick.

The PDR-VLR series is an excellent value. This bundled offer is well constructed and an easy draw. I have tried all of the binder options and the camaroon wrapper is consistently excellent.

I'm a Pinar Del Rio fan, and this cigar delivers the superb aroma and taste as their more expensive sticks. A couple of the cigars are a little tight, but using Thompson's Draw Poker clears that up nicely. This is the first smoke with a cameroon wrapper that I've tried, and I'm impressed. I'm a maduro wrapper fan, but the cameroon wrapper delivers a smooth and somewhat creamy taste as well. With the price of these sticks, they're great for everyday, and their top end taste make them good enough for special occassians also.

I'm a PDR fan and wasn't disappointed in this smoke. I usually place a couple of orders a month. One upper end cigar and one everyday smoke. This is a decent everyday smoke that lasts about 35 to 40 minutes. I' wasn't very familiar with the Cameroon wrapper and found it a little on the spicy side for my pallet. I prefer the PDR VLR maduro for the price however I certainly wouldn't shy away from a good deal on these.
