As a true Nicaraguan puros, Serie O by Oliva is made with an original Cuban method of taking the same Habano seed and growing them in different regions to produce distinct blends and then combining them. Three areas used in this cigar were Esteli, Condega and Jalapa Valley. Finished with a Sun Grown Habano wrapper, the Series O has notes of dark tobacco with spice and rich cedar.

I was looking forward to my first smoke, had my side of Jefferson Bourbon, the weather was perfect and I lit one up. Then every 2 or 3 minutes I had to relight because it refused to burn. I sent them back and am waiting for my box of Victor Sinclairs to arrive.

I've been using the Oliva Serie O aa a semi-regular smoke. This is one really nice smoke. The draw was a bit more firm than I like but the flavor was worth it. The flavor isnt overpowering. There is a nice earthy flavor that beings out a cedar, cherry/molasses, pepper, taste with hints of chocolate and nut. Not overly complex but a solid smoke.
