This is my favorite cigar! Never let's you down. Great consistency of flavor and construction. World renowned and always in peoples top list for a reason. Must grab one of these as soon as you have a chance.

You can't go wrong with the Oliva Serie V Melanio. Burns perfectly with a good volume of smoke, no tunneling or need to relight or coax the edges along. A lot of flavor that won't punch you in the face at first -- maybe a gentle slap! -- and then mellows. Very enjoyable.

This Oliva V Melanio is a consistently highly rated cigar and my experience supports these ratings. Full, complex flavors, great body. Well constructed. When purchased as part of the 5 pack deal it is also an incredible value.

This is my favorite cigar. Good draw, smooth taste and over all, perfect for me. Flavor changes 3-4 times and each one is unique. I'd smoke this every day if I could. Can't go wrong with this stick.

A lovely cigar

I've always enjoyed the Serie V, but this was my first experience with the pressed Melanio. What a wonderful smoke! After two of them, I'm sold. This will likely become my standard "special occasion" smoke. It's a little pricey for every day, but for that weekly or every other weekly occasion, it's a great choice. Flavor is excellent throughout the smoke, with only a slight tendency to need an occasional "touch up" with the lighter. I also did not let them "rest" in the humidor more than 3 days, so they are likely still a little high in moisture. Nothing but good to say about this one, and I'm not even a pressed cigar fan..

This cigar has great flavor without having a peppery bite, and the draw and burn are excellent. It's no wonder the Series V Melanio appears on the top cigar lists every year. I have found that this is the closest thing to a top of the line Padron that I can get for under $10 / cigar. I always like to have a few of these in the humidor, and the pricing on the Thompson 5-pack Fever makes this one of the best deals I've found.

This is my go-to cigar whenever I want a superior smoke with a perfect draw and an outstanding flavor profile. It goes perfectly with single malt scotch, sipping bourbon or aged rum. It also pairs well with espresso or strong coffee in the morning. If I have more time I will usually light up a Melanio Figurado instead, but the Melanio Robusto is perfect when you only have time for a shorter smoke.

This Olivia cigar was superb from start to finish. The experience reminded me a lot of a decadent lobster with drawn butter or a Ruth's Chris ribeye done to perfection. Rich and complex, with notes of carmel give way to retrohail of butter flavored cotton candy.

Medium consistent cigar

Melanio Robusto is one of my favorite smokes. I was thrilled to get them in the , "Five Pack Fever" promo.

Well constructed, good even burn, easy draw. Flavors of coffee, wood, earthy and a little sweet spice earn my vote. Medium body that lasted throughout entire smoke. Flavor intensified somewhat but not enough to change my opinion.

Mix this one in my weekly rotation, usually smoke the "Factory Overruns" and smoke this "First" just to compare. Strong, Thick Smoke, Creamy Smoke, Flavors are; (chocolate, leather, aged tobacco) I am not real good at identifying "Taste" for me I kind of have two taste buds (good & bad) this Cigar tastes Great to me.

Saw that it was Oliva and cheap so I bought it figuring what the heck. Probably better than the Serie V's I have picked up in the local cigar shop. Would rank it close to the Arturo Fuente Double Chateues.

Great stick! taste of Chocolate, wood, leather, coffee, and cream. Full bodied but very smooth! One of the best! Very close to a Padron 1926 which is my benchmark cigar!
