First impression was wow, sparks ever where! Burning my hand and trying to burn holes in a expensive irreplaceable sweater! I've been smoking Sutliff the last couple of pounds, but my tongue isn't liking it much, so it looks like back to Lane, or Scotties very expensive Trout Stream. (sigh)

I tried this one because the price was good, and the reviews were also good. I was very surprised to find that it has become my new favorite. I typically like aromatics. This one has no bite, a sweet flavor that is exactly like the room note that my wife loves. Great for a beginner, and for those of us who still appreciate a mild, sweet, flavorful smoke even after some years. This is dessert.

Could smell this as soon as I opened the box. No problems keeping it lit. Mild to medium smoke not harsh on the throat but I was smoking it from a long stem pipe.

Good smoke. Would like to see more cavendish blends. Would like more product details, especially for type of tobacco, flavor, and strength. Remember spouses need to like the aroma also, they also need info enough to buy surprise gifts, and many don't know much about tobacco. Pipe smoking 101 section would help. This could also help with cigar smoking 101 as well.
