I should have ordered a larger ring size. Otherwise the smoke was more than satisfactory.

A bit smaller than I expected but you can never go wrong with Montechristo. Good draw, excellent flavor. Montechristo is always top shelf.

Looked forward to trying these. I am not a huge Montecristo fan but have enjoyed them from time-to-time over the years. Well, not sure if they are all like this but, I couldn’t keep them lit! So aggravating - wont purchase again!

Perfect length smoke...not too quick and not too long like some Churchill's can be. Nice even draw as well

Mowed the lawn yesterday and settled in afterward with a couple pinches of Glenlivet 15 year and one of these Montes. I was in heaven. Smooth smoke from tip to tip.

Wonderful flavors with a light spice. Pairs well with wine, scotch or vodka. Not too hot which makes it a perfect summer BBQ smoke.

The Dominican Montecristo factory used to be the benchmark for quality cigar construction and consistency, but production quality has been in decline for the last ten years. The tobacco used in the Platinum blend is fragrant and flavorful, but inconsistent rolling make the purchase a gamble: I estimate that maybe 13 or 14 last 20 Coronas where a good smoke, the others had various issues and were discarded. 10 or 15 years ago, those cigars would have been sold as second quality or factory rejects - wrapper color, construction, diameter and even length are not uniform (see picture)

Very good smoke from Montecristo, not mild but not too strong to enjoy after lunch.

I wasn't impressed with the cigar. It was difficult to light, and keep lit. It was a headache to get a draw which I find extremely frustrating! Nothing really remarkable to me.

Montecristo makes a fine smoke. These cigars are a first rate smoke for special occasions or once a day on a long walk with my dog. Never a disappointment with Montecristo.

This is probably the best all round cigar at a reasonable price that I have smoked. If you prefer cigars on the mild to medium side this is the one for any occaision.

Not at all a bad tasting cigar and actually quite good, but I've given up on them Out of the six I've smoked thus far only one had a decent draw and the others were like trying to suck a golf ball thorough a water hose. I actually had to relight one three times even though I smoked it rather aggressively. Having to relight a pipe (which I also smoke) several times is par and parcel of smoking a pipe, but unforgivable with a cigar. .

Clip the end of the cigar close to the cap. Hold the cigar about a foot away and roast the end evenly with the Vector moving it around until the cigar starts to glow. Then take a couple of puffs, lighting the end to confirm the burn. Enjoy the rest. Remember not to smoke it too fast. ;-)
