Montecristo has a rich Cuban heritage and has been providing us with delicious and well-crafted cigars for years. Now we see the Montecristo Perlado Toro (6" x 50) which wears a Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican binder. Below these tobaccos, you will find a blend of choice Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. These tobaccos produce a smooth to medium-bodied flavor profile with notes of cream, nuts, and pepper.

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Montecristo cigar. The draw on them is terrible and they go out every two minutes (constantly having to relight them). Montecristo's at one time were a high quality, great tasting cigar but, no longer. Way over priced plus poorly made means I will never purchase another Montecristo and I have many friends who would agree.

Good draw throughout the smoke. Seems to want to tunnel so keep the lighter handy. Good amount of smoke with a great aroma. Don’t want to recommend because I want them all to myself. I wouldn’t rank them heavier than medium. 👌

The first one I lit burned inside the wrapper only. I have never had anything like that happen with any cigar prior to my recent experience After several efforts to rectify issue. I discarded. I have left the others in my humidor, and am reluctant to try another.

Cigar's draw is blocked and I had to cut the tip 1/4 of inch to get air draws. Also the burning goes side way. This type of cigar is not good. Bad name for montecristo.

Smoked two as soon as they arrived. By midway through the cigar they came apart. The must have been old or stored improperly at Thompson Cigar. I will contact Thompson to have replacements sent to me.
