Montecristo Pepe Mendez Pilotico Robusto Ecuador (5" x 50) is a cigar devoted to Jose "Pepe" Mendez. Pepe was a Cuban farmer who moved from Cuba to the Dominican Republic, carrying a hand full of seeds. Upon establishing himself, Pepe became a pioneer for cuban-seed tobacco in the Dominican Republic. As recognition, Montecristo named this cigar after him. With a medium-to-full bodied blend this Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapped cigar features a Dominican binder and a mix of Dominican Pilotico and Nicaraguan fillers. With the spirit of Pepe, this cigar fits well within the Montecristo family of cigars.
