Must have been a bad batch. They had no identifiable notes. Just tasted like tobacco. They were very dry assuming by the tightness of the roll. Tasted stale even after a month of humidifying. I hope it was just a one time thing.

THE MACANUDO BLACK IS A FAIRLY GOOD CIGAR. A SMOOTH DRAW FROM START TO FINISH. THE FLAVOR IS AMOUNG THE BEST.

This is an outstanding, long lasting, cigar!

Thi is my cigar of choice. The draw, smoke and flavor are good. They are still a bit expensive, but when I receive a free gift or less expensive maccanudo sampler it makes it worthwhile.

The draw is great

I have smoked 5 of these cigars. I found them to be extremely tightly packed, very hard and dry. I find I needed to use a "draw poker" to help ventilate for an easier smoke/draw. I'm not thrilled at all with this purchase.

This is definitely one of my favorite smokes. Draws great, smokes great and tastes even better. I’m not a pro when it comes to talking about the different notes you get from a cigar but it’s up there with some of the premium cigars that I’ve smoked.

It’s a good cigar. Almost always a good draw. Although I’ve had a couple from my order that had a very hard draw. Almost all of them burn evenly. I would probably buy these again.

With the macanudo black About a quarter of the cigars where very hard. They would not soften up if you tried to smoke them you could barely draw through them. But the ones that i could smoke I enjoyed very much.

First time trying this cigar and I was not disappointed. From the construction to its flavor and texture I would have to say that this has been one of my favorites. Quality is quality and you can't go wrong with this beauty.
