As one of the La Gloria Cubana Serie R cigars, this is a good smoke. Burn is even and the length means you won't be taking up the whole day smoking it. But since I'm a Maduro guy, I prefer LGC #6 and #7 Maduros more.

Although I remember ordering the Series R Robusto Naturals, not Sumatras (not entirely blaming Thompson; it could have been my mistake), LGC is generally a consistent and high quality smoke no matter the wrapper; in other words, the wrong order didn't stop me from smoking them, and I wasn't disappointed. These are some of the best Sumatras I've had. LGC is a great mid-to-high grade brand, with lots of high quality offerings.

Bought 60 of these on sale for a 10 day vacation at the lake. It takes a special cigar to smoke 6 a day for 10 days, but this one knocked it out of the park!

Nice full body cigar

LGC series R is my favorite so when you are able to purchase them for less than $6, you do it. I think Thompson had them for around $5. I put the 3 five packs (unopened so still sealed in plastic) in my humidor immediately when I received them & left them there for about a month. I open a package and pulled one out today to do this review. The one I grabbed today was very hard-especially at the bottom end (which is my favorite part). I was a little disappointed at first thinking they were not going to smoke very well; however, I messaged it some and then the outer wrapper came loose indicating it was pretty dry. Again I was worried, but even though some of the outer wrapper came off it started smoking great-and stayed that way all the way to the end. Had a perfect ash through almost the entire cigar. ’I’m going to open the other two packs up and let them all heal up in the humidor which should help with the dryness. Bottom line is I loved it. Hope the rest will be as good but right now I’d by them again.

I’ve been waiting for these smokes to become available for awhile, and at a Price that I couldn’t resist, and am rewarded for the effort. La Gloria has done it! The taste and the quality shine thru, and this once “boutique “ cigar has been bought to the masses ! I just love my purchase and have been doing business with Thompson for over 30 years, as a second generation customer, I’ve been satisfied with all my purchases and products! Thanks Again !

Best smoke I’ve found. My “go to” for years now. Only problem is the cap…..they could do better.

These were one of my fathers favorite cigars so was glad to buy a few. In addition to a good smoke, they brought back good memories.

This cigar is my new favorite. Medium to full body with a great even burn. The Guage is a perfect size. Very fairly priced.
