I smoke one or two of these a week. The #3 is not as consistent as the Belicoso, but it is a shorter smoke and not as expensive. The quality of the smoke and flavor are nice. Unfortunately they do occasionally burn unevenly. It requires a good light around all of the edges and not a lot of wind, otherwise you may need frequent touch-ups with a lighter. About one out of each box seems to be wrapped a bit tight as well. Storing at the lower end of the humidity scale (< 70%) adversely affects this cigar more than some others. At its best, it is very enjoyable. I keep these as my primary everyday/every week smoke.

I purchase a box of these and should have followed the advise of reviewer Hectito that gave them a poor review. His review was spot on. I shared a couple with fellow cigar smokers and all agreed that these were not enjoyable. I have in the past, and still do, enjoy other La Gloria's. These are best served by the trash and returning the rest of them.

gone through 5 cigars out of the bundle and have not had a relaxed joyful smoking moment. This cigar have been difficult to light up and its quick to extinguish it self. If it doesn't star canoeing it begins tunneling, that requires re-lighting

This is truly a fantastic sampler! While the AB Retreat and RP Nicaraguan Reserve are Thompson exclusives, the rest are well known high retailing cigars. The price is right, the cigars look amazing, and while I haven't smoked them yet I am sure that I will not be let down. Thompson obviously skimped on the higher end cigars by providing some of the smallest possible versions, but, given the price of the sampler, it was to be expected. For those that would like to know what cigar sizes I received in my order (August 2013) here goes: (1) Cain F Habano Straight Ligero 5.7x50 Robusto (2) Cain Habano Straight Ligero 5.7x50 Robusto (3) Cain Nub Habano 4x60 Rothschild Natural (4) Alec Bradley Prensado 5x50 Robusto (5) Alec Bradley Retreat 5x50 Robusto (6) Alec Bradley Tempus 5.625x46 Inceptio (7) Rocky Patel Autumn Collection 6.5x52 Toro (8) Rocky Patel Nicaragua Reserve 6x50 Toro Maduro (9) RockyPatelSunGrown6.5x52Toro

Not the products fault, but the companies fault. Cedar looked nice and thick on the inside.

The first 3 all canoed badly. I could have went fishing in them. They looked and felt okay but burnt awful.

If you like a full bodied large ring gauge cigar but don't have the time for a long smoke, this is your cigar. Full flavor, easy draw and well made. Great for special occasions but these are so good I smoke them daily.
