Sometime this year Gloria Cubana changed the tobacco or the way a typical cigar is made. It is less tasty and the roll is not as tight. Ever since they created the new cigar band the quality has gone down. My normal go to Gloria Cubana cigars don’t exist anymore. What used to be excellent is now normal and sub par….. Bummer…now I need to find another go-to cigar…

La Gloria Cubana cigars are excellent and they’ve been my “every day” cigars for many years.

15 to 20 years ago, this was a top of the line smoke. Now it is a slightly better than average cigar. Since La Gloria developed its higher end, more specialized cigars, its original brand cigars have somewhat suffered: spotty wrapper, uneven burn after the halfway mark, and occasionally a little bitter. Nowadays this cigar is more like the ones sold under their El Credito brand when it had more shapes and sizes: good, but not great.

I love these cigars, I enjoy them on a walk with the dog, on weekends working around the house and cottage. Just a great smoke and a great value!

Good tasting & burning. I had narrowed my choices down to: CAO, HOYO DEMONTIRAY, GLORIA CUBANA.

"Your Rating Section" needs some adjustments. It took 5 minutes to affix the right rating in the block. As for my use of the product: I enjoy a good smoke with a full bodied beer on Friday evenings: a great way to wind up a workweek. This smoke has great flavor without being overpowering. The only, minor complaint is the draw is inconsistent.

The cigars were a bit dry and hard. Had to put them back in the humidor for several days before they sofen'd up. The cigars all want to burn up one side faster than the remaining. This is inconsistant with a good quality smoke.

If I had to choose one cigar, it would be this one. Longer than the Wavell and fatter than the Gloria Extra this one is the poster cigar. Loaded with flavor, not too light, not too heavy. A good draw with alot of blue smoke. As many cons as pros? Let them sit a while and loosin em up. Perfect.

These are absolutely great cigars, I love the 52 ring size and they are priced right. Best value for the money that i have seen for this premium cigar.

Too many cigars in each box do not light and burn uniformly, especially for the first inch or so. It's almost impossible to uniformly light some with even several matches.
