The butane I was using made my torch burn like a reg lighter, but after I filled it with this butane it works as it ought to. And the price is very reasonable.

This product works fine.... so comes down to cost. I usually buy a case [12 cans] and for around $35.00. I bought many brands and don't really see the difference.

For butane 13 fluid ounces like this one, is the equivalent of 7 fluid ounces. So you get a little less than a 8 ounce net weight can (net means butane only and not the can and butane together). If you get two 13 fluid ounce cans, you are getting 11.3 more fluid ounces than one can of 8 ounce net weight (e.g. Xikar, Thompson) but I have found thought that while you get more with 2 cans of Jet butane, their nozzles are not the best and you can sometimes get significant leakage. So if you get a bad nozzle is may just be a wash in the amount of butane you actually are able to use. The conversion formula roughly is: (fluid oz) x 0.54 = (net wt oz) or (net. wt. oz) x 1,84 = (fluid oz).

This appeared to be a great deal, but one out of two cans had a leaky valve, so the liquid butane runs down the outside of the stem rather than into the lighter. This can of butane is a total loss and not worth the effort to ship back. Anyway, one of two cans worked and I expected a 13 fluid oz can to be larger, but I will have to see how many fills I get out of it. My suggestion to JetLine would be to do depress each valve to check for leaks before packaging.
