Some of these fell apart when the wrapper was removed, other come apart while smoking them. I have these before and they were okay, but this order was very bad.

For the price, a pretty good product. Flavor is consistent as is density and overall presentation. A very competitive every day cigar. They are not ultra-premium but you're not paying 10 bucks a stick or more!

The people leaving negative reviews because these cigars aren't up to Macanudo or Victor Sinclair standards need to get over themselves. The HSR's are "buck-and-a-quarter-a-stick" stogies, for God's sake -- so scale your expectations accordingly! For the price they are very good, even excellent, every day smokes. I'm an author, and I almost always have one lit while I'm writing -- they're perfect for that, a workaday cigar. In six months of smoking the HSRs, I've never had one fall apart, they've never been dry and crumbly, I've had none of the negative experiences those reviews whine about. These cigars are, as a rule, sufficiently smooth and mellow, although I'll admit that those with the Maduro wrapper can run a bit hot as they burn down. All in all, in terms of value received, these are an excellent product and an excellent buy!

Pleasantly surprised by appearance and overall build. Wasn't expecting much but it's actually a nicely put together cigar. haven't smoked enough to determine consistency but hopefully the rest are like the first two. A little light on the draw it seemed for the first one but the second was nice, good smoke not too harsh as I got to the last third, stayed together nicely. Ash held nicely for over an inch throughout.

It's a good long slow smoke, one for evening relaxation time. Can get an hour and a half straight through, a few lasted 2 hours without letting them go out. Good overall experience. Smooth cool smoke, good natural flavor, even burning once started. Additional perk on the up side was the product description said 7 inch length. The entire bundle was 7 1/2 inches in length. Only downside was humidity. Humidor was 71F/70RH. Smoked great in the living room. Outside though, 82F with high humidity, they softened up and wanted to swell very slightly within 10 minutes and got hard to hit. Let them go out and dry boxed them. Eventually hours later i finished them, indoors. Overall, i'm happy with the Honduran short run Churchill sampler.

My service K9 goes out often through each day, but our longer evening walks are the perfect time to light a cigar. Every time, when I see I'm halfway through my smoke, I turn around because our walk is halfway over. The HSRs have a full-bodied flavor, fairly long smoke, and I find them to be good for any time I have to enjoy a cigar.

The taste on these cigars is fantastic for all of the variations. The cigar burns quite fast but a churchill is plenty a stogie to chomp on. The filler is a combo, but after opening one up i was pleased to see a lot of actual long filler with just a bit of short filler. Good quality all around.

These are a good smoke for the price. The Maduro wrappers were the best by far with the Sumatra being a close second. I'm not really into the Connecticut wrappers, but I'll choke them down.

This is a great everyday cigar. Love the peppery flavor. They will tend to burn a little uneven, but if you keep up with them it's no problem. Tip: Try using a punch rather than a cutter. I found they hold together a lot better that way.

I enjoyed this bundle of HSR - Churchill's. All three versions of this cigar are enjoyable. Since I'm fairly new to cigars, I really like being able to compare the leaf differences from the same vendor. Smoking a Connecticut from different vendors helps with HOW they make them different, but not how much stronger the Maduro is compared to the Habano and then again to the Connecticut. They are Honduran, so you get a little more spice/pepper with these and if you like that extra flavor, these are quite pleasant. I'm experienced enough (yet) to truely compare them to 10+ cigars, but if you are looking for a good daily smoke, at a good price - give'm a try, I think you'll like them.
