I remove cellophane & bands immediately before placing in humidor so I don't know which label to associate with. Four cigars, all same wrapper, we're "moth eaten (bugs)" all along, and unsmokeable. Disapointing.

It’s a fast draw but even burn, had just a couple that burned uneven other than that very satisfied good taste would buy again

Nub quality and taste without Nub price. Perfect size when you don't have time to smoke a long cigar and do not want to waste the rest. They are cheap enough that you can smoke two if you have the time.

I snatched these up because I was getting low on cigars and it looked like a good deal. They turned out to taste like someone infused them with some kind of perfume leaving a soapy taste in my mouth.

The size is great for a quick smoke when I don’t have a lot of time. Some of the wrappers were quite flimsy and didn’t stay together.

Cigars were in rough shape. Some cigars had been smashed, some had cracked wrappers or the caps falling off in the celo. There were a couple that had torn celo, or the celo was stuck to the wrapper.

Pretty good for price point but too many had broken and busted caps. Leaving the rest in high humidity humidor yo see if it fixes that. Bought some more and will see if they co.e in any better.

Uneven burn was a problem. Like the size and taste. Price was right but 15 min. Each due to wrap was short.

They are dry, smoke harsh and fast. I think once they have spent time (a lot) in a humidor they may be better. I prefer Maduro and dark, harsh smokes. These are just a little light for me.

I was excited to receive this bundle, though with a cut and a light my excitement dwindled a bit. I was pleasantly surprised to see they were made in the Philippines where Iived for 14 years. They arrived with a moisture content of 88%, put in humidor until the moisture content dropped to 66%. Sorry to say that they are not manufactured very well. They are handmade, though loosely rolled which created uneven burn, had to be relighted several times, the cap was so shallow I decided to not attempt a v-cut. Tried a punch cut and the cap unwrapped a little, so I repaired it with a straight cut. The draw was ok, (one needed a draw tool run through it, to improve draw) and produced a good amount of smoke. The flavors in the first 1/3 were a bit muted and didn't exhibit much a flavor profile. Second 3rd produced some hints of leather, pepper, coffee, some spicy in retrohale but not over powering. I have smoked 5 of these and the wrapper unrolled and 3 developed a split at the foot after being lighted. I gave 4 to a neighbor that I introduced to cigars and he likes them. As to recommending these, I would day don't have the expectation that you will get a "Nub" for $1.50. But if you consider that it is a $1.50 stick it is not a terrible stick for the price point. That is the reason I gave them 3 stars. For the price point it is an "ok" smoke. Full disclosure, I have reordered this bundle to share with my neighbor.

About 1/3 of the cigars just don’t burn right. They would burn at an angle or some would get a burn down n the middle of the cigar. I love the Nub cigars and was hoping this would be a cheaper alternative. I was mistaken.

Bought these thinking they were as good as Nub's. Not a bad quick smoke just not my cup of tea.

Poor Product, the worse ever !!! I always smoke Nub, and will continue to do so. These Habano Godito's were so bad they were unsmokeable. They look like Nubs, but they are not. Not even worthy of a Spit and Chew. These Cigars along with Rock Patel Mulligans may look like Nub Cigars, but they are Garbage. You pay for what you get. Also, Since Scandanavian Tobacco Group bought Thompson, the customer Service on the Phone is at least 20 minutes hold time, and on a recent purchase, that I had to return I still not have been credited back, and it;s been 4 weeks. Worst i ever bought, waste of money. Can’t keep lit, have to keep relighting over and over again. Haven’t been able to finish just one, they’re small enough as it is, the drag is hot, never buy again. Bad Construction! Bad Flavor! Bad Smoke!

Every cigar has tunneled, they did not burn on the outside. They became very nasty tasting. I bought these cigars because of the size, something quick to smoke. I Won’t buy them again. Most of the cigars that I have boughten from you in the past have been really good. Thank you

This product was a gift for my son, Gary Crymes Jr. and he loved the gift. The cigars were great and he enjoying them very much. He is a big fan of Thompson's Cigars and I thank you very much, because they made my son very happy.

I tried twice to smoke one and both times, I threw them away. The rest of the lot will also be trashed.

They're just OK. They're not as good (full-bodied) as was advertised. I was looking for a less expensive version of CAO's Brazilla....to date, I've yet to find one that compare. - PS But I'm still looking

The size on these a great ! Same as a Nub . It burn is awful !!!! I had to relight 3 times ! When it is on the smoke is ok? But keeps going out ! I would not buy these gain at all ! I would give zero stars if I could. I gave 2 to a buddy at work to see what he thought and he had same problems I had. Really am disappointed!!!

Wen you buy cheap Cigars you can't expect perfection, but these are worthless. The entire pack came as spongy as you can get. I put them in my humidor for a week and tried one. It would not stay lit. I had to relight it constantly until I just gave up and threw it away. Unless the others tighten up they will have to be thrown away as well.

These are the most horrible tasting sticks EVER. I tried to return them but I found it so difficult to get any assistance from customer service that I just threw them away. Hopefully no homeless person found them and decided to smoke them. These are a downgrade from homelessness. Recommend to a friend? NO I wouldn't recommend these to an enemy.

Cigars burned uneven, loosely wrapped, after about 10 puffs they were hot on the draw. Was hoping they would be close to a nub, not even close. Burned like a chimney meaning the inside like a tunnel

I love the gauge and the length because it allows for me to enjoy a smoke while on my daily break on the job. However, they do not burn evenly. It wasn't just one, but the entire bundle. Not satisfied with the purchase regardless of the price.

I use these to relax out in the yard with a drink to wind down at night after a long day at work.

So so... About 1/3 of the cigars don't burn well. Had to turn mine on about 15 times. Made out of left over pieces so you get them in your teeth. V-Cut sometimes tears the cap. My cutter is sharp. Have to smoke two for what should be a longer smoke. Okay to use for quick and cheap smokes. All the brands are made up brands that no one has ever heard of. Equivalent of "Ronco" products but in cigars.

Thompson's should put the rest of their inventory of these cigars on a slow boat to the Philippines and after the ship's crew escapes in a lifeboat, sink the ship. These cigars fell apart in the middle of smoking, with one or two being the opposite: too tightly packed to draw enough smoke to blow an invisible smoke ring!

These Habano Gorditos are packed so tight they do not draw well nor do they burn even. Not worth the savings to try.

These are a good smoke and a very smooth draw. They are a great inexpensive cigar for when you don't want to be smoking for an hour.

This was a great smoke for the money an easy hours worth of peace.

I keep them in a small humidor and use a punch. There's Not a bad smoke in the bunch. I take three of these fat boys with me to the golf course, one for the front one for the back nine and one for my victory smoke. A must have smoke for poker night with the guys.

These cigars are not great. It doesn't taste good, won't stay lit and wrapper unravels.

I gave these a try on account of the price. I have smoked about 16 of these so far, I wanted to give them a fair shake before writing a review. The flavor and size of these guys is very nice, I enjoyed both of those aspects of these smokes. Unfortunately, the construction is SO POOR that it just makes it difficult to enjoy. They are rolled very loose so the end in your mouth becomes very smashed and soggy. The construction of the cap is the worst I have ever seen. Of the 16 I have smoked, not a one has burned properly, they have all had giant runs up one side. I wanted to like these, but of all the purchases that I have made from Thompson Cigars over the years, this has been the most disappointing.

These cigars are the worse I have ever smoked. They are harsh tasting, burn unevenly, hard to light, and of very, very poor construction. Thompson should be ashamed to offer this kind of poor quality to it's customers.

was only able to smoke 2 1/2 sticks. Not very pleasant in my opinion. they tended to tunnel and would not stay lit. Not sure of this brand but I definitely will not be ordering these again, they were supposed to be 60 gauge but seem to be around 50 or so.

I have ordered this pack of cigars twice. The first time was the summer of 2016, the second this past April. The pack of cigars include 5 Thompsons, 5 Bagatelles, 5 Tranquilos, and 5 Independica 1898s. In the 2016 order, three of the cigars were difficult to keep lit and had a poor draw. As a result their flavor was not enjoyable. Those inculded the Thompsons, Bagatelles, and Tranquilos. The Independica on the other hand was just the opposite. It had a great draw and flavor, so good, I smoked 2 of these right in a row. My order from this past April was just the opposite. Only 1 of 4 of the Independicas smoked properly and had an excellent draw and flavor. The other three Independicas I had to use a drawpoker and relight each at least twice.(I have one left.) The other three cigars, the Thompsons, the Bagatelles, and the Tranquilos all smoked pretty well with good flavor. I noticed all the the cigars burned a little hot, even when I made sure I was not smoking them to fast. For the 2016 order, I store the cigars in my humidor. For this Springs order I stored the cigars in a ziplock bag, thinking maybe the 2016 order was a little too fresh or green. I will probably order another pack of these this week. I went through this last order pretty fast.

Everything seemed to make this an average smoke; the short filler made enjoyment difficult as I kept having to spit out piece of tobacco.

Other reviewers said to leave these alone. I thought that for the price I would take a gamble Well hind sight is 20/20. Stems everywhere, inconsistent burn and flavor from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Never buy Thompson cigar brand. This is my second time and second time they sent me trash.

I am a working class Joe who smokes 3 to 5 cigars a day. I buy low end cigars because that is all I can afford, but I still want value for what I pay. I normally do not buy any cigar shorter than 5 inches, but I thought since these cigars have such a large ring size that I would get at least as long of a smoke as a robusto. However, I have smoked about 1/2 of the bundle and have yet to have one last over 15 - 20 minutes. The cigars are hard to light evenly, with either a $1.00 butane lighter or a torch, and tend to tunnel or burn unevenly. They do not stay lit if put down, and after smoking 1 or 2 inches, relighting them runs the risk of singeing my mustache or burning the tip of my nose. About 1/2 way through every cigar, the wrapper comes loose, creating a burn risk to my shirt if a wrapper cinder separates from the cigar. After the wrapper comes loose, the cigar flattens out, the tobacco flakes, and the smoking pleasure is completely gone. I will not buy these cigars again, and will not smoke one if it is given to me. Trying to smoke one destroys the relaxation mode that I am seeking when I light a cigar. I rated this cigar 1 star only because I could not rate it zero.

I had read one review after I had order saying that they were dry and wrapper would keep peeling. I had none of those issues. The only problem I had was, they would burn inside the wrapper and the wrapper would not burn. But enjoyed the short smoke (30 min) and the flavor was very good. I would recommend buying these. Very good value for the price.

Don't Bother

I do not recommend this cigar at all. I drive over the road and enjoy 3 to 4 smokes a day, and 1 or 2 pipes. I really like the 4 x 60 because of the size over all. Short with a big ring size. I have Gurkha, DSR, and Oliva Nub, all in 4 x 60 which are all very good. Yes these were cheaper but I thought what the heck. After lighting and within a couple of puffs they were no longer round but flat, and falling apart. I originally bought 2 bundles of 20 and have tried to smoke all of the first bundle. As I said I tried, have yet to finish one. Also remember to put a filter on the end (paper, mesh) doesn't matter just something. Filler so small was eating tobacco from light to fall-a-part! Yes I tried different methods from Punch, V-Cut, and Guillotine. Made no difference!
