this was my first experience with a Gurkha product and I was very pleased. Out of the wrapper, it smelled good and looked like a very expensive cigar, the wrapper was smooth and the fillers seemed evenly packed inside. The draw was easy with plenty of smoke coming through. I burned down very evenly too. The flavor profile was very mild to my taste. I would recommend to anyone who likes a real smooth, mild Connecticut cigar.

Decent mild cigar, the best aspect of which is its great smoke. Flavor is a bit bland, but pleasant. A good cigar to have when cutting the grass, fishing, etc.

I ordered the GHURKA but received something completely different; some off-brand cigar not made by GHURKA. They are not BAD cigars but certainly not as good as what I ordered and paid for.

Bought for something on the golf course and it's ok for that. Not the premium home smoke.

So far, (as even the best cigar may diminish in quality, for many reasons), these cigars are a pleasing find. Smooth and fragrant, they nicely accompany an end of the day drink overlooking the Caribbean.

I'm not typically a fan of Ghurka cigars but these are very good. Will order more in the future. Would recommend them to anyone who wanted a good cigar that is not over powering. Good consistent draw, white smoke, subdued flavor, and long lasting. Every single one of them only had to be lighted once and burned evenly from start to finish. Ghurka has definitely hit a home run with these!

These came nicely packed, aesthetically they looked very nice. First impressions were good. Opened one up, cut it, toasted it and fired it up. The first inch or so was decent, nice draw, ok burn and not bad flavor. From there things changed. The flavor of this cigar for me is not very good once you get in to it. It starts to get bitter with in 10 to 15 minutes of lighting it. The pack is inconsistent, one stick will draw loose, the next one you have to run a poker through it. My biggest complaint is the band. I have smoked 8 of the 16 and EVERY one has had excessive glue on the band ripping the wrapper and a few times the binder with it when removing. I am curious, is this a Thompson Cigar only offering? I have decided to give these away when casual smokers ask for a cigar. I can't recommend them for purchase.

Just received a box of these cigars. One cigar had an obvious wrapper defect. It was buried in the bottom layer. I believe this was intentional. Since I have many choices as to what cigars to buy, and from whom I buy them, I will not buy these again, and I will not be buying cigars from Thompson any longer. They did offer me a $10 gift card for my trouble, but I feel the problem reflects quality control problems greater than $10 can correct.

If not for the wrapper issue, I would have enjoyed more.
