Nice cigar.

I had ordered these several years ago and they are the same as I remember. Very good, smooth, medium body stick. Well constructed, smooth, somewhat oily medium-dark brown San Andres wrapper. I do not like the very wide paper band on these but they are very good for the price. I am a Gurkha fan and have had several different ones, most of which are very good. This one is a good value with decent flavor.

Cigars arrived Dry. Made the mistake of Smoking one on Arrival. Cracked and Split half way up. Threw them into my Humidifier for 3 days before I could smoke one without Cracking. Same can be said for the Box of Hoya De Monterey Camarroon Excalibur Merlins I received yesterday. Don't they have a Huge at Thompson Cigars to keep them a little fresh?

would be better if not so dried out. have in humidor and trying to get a little moister

Easy draw, mild to medium strength, good tobacco flavor. A good every day cigar that goes well with bourbon or scotch. They have a nice looking band of an image of a tall ship reminiscent of the Franklin expedition but it's huge and difficult to remove without damaging the cigar. I would buy these again.

Just OK nothing great.

Quality and price are the only factors to consider in buying a cigar. The higher the price, the higher the quality in theory. Gurkha almost always passes the price/quality test.
