A good smoke. To begin with everybody has their own unique preferences. What is good for one may not be good for another. I read the reviews and knew what I was getting. Resting my sticks does a world of good and pays off in the long run. After several days in the humidor, I blasted one of these and it was an enjoyable experience. Never expected this to be a $25 stick. No expectations equal no disappointments. The burn was even with a smooth draw. Has a good taste and pairs well with single malt Scotch..neat.

The Gukha Hudson Bay is a great cigar. It taste great, burns evenly and is very enjoyable.

A lot of gurkha cigars have the same undertone, which is a very nice ensemble of medium earthy and leather flavors. However, I feel like they cater to size with their Churchills. It's a good cigar, but with a bit of a tight draw, making a sometimes inconsistent smoke. I don't like to v cut a smaller ring cigar of this length because they tend get messy toward the end. Even with a good clean punch I'd say 2 out 5 cigars will not have a consistent draw.

While I have only smoked one of these so far, I found that the flavor was good but it drew poorly.

For the most part the cigars were good in flavor burn and construction, but had one of them flake on me with the rapper coming apart.

I expected another quality of Gurkha. Bad taste.
