They seemed to be over humidified. Very soft and became difficult to draw. I recently purchased Acid Toast and had the same problem.

I'm writing this to be honest, and I'm not asking for anything. First thing you should know is the G3 happens to be one of my personal favorites, from the box, tastes ect. This was a bad box. Every one had a tunneling issue, except 2. The combustion line was large, so it was not well aged. I have not ordered a box of these in a while, and I brag on the G3 alot, and I'm so glad my previous boxes were great and I'm so glad I didn't have a box like this in the beginning when I first tried these, because it would have changed my option of this cigar. Luckily, I had many great boxes and this box hasn't changed my mind about the G3. These are hand made and I just happened to get a box with a bad filler that burned faster than the wrapper. So, unfortunately this box was not upto my expectations. You should know, this doesn't effect my option of Thompson or Gurkha, I love these Companies! Shane

Everytime I smoke one,it always make me want to chew on it,there are very few cigars that make me want to do this,that is why I have 4 boxes in my humidor and plan on more

good cigar not bad

Very smooth draw, even burn, sweet finish. Came with a nice leather outer case instead of the traditional cedar box. Goes excellent with a cup of black Colombian coffee. Just wish they came in a larger ring size, like a 6x60.

Got into cigars this summer (newb here) and have tried many different brands. Some big name and some not so much. When I saw the deal on a Gurkha I jumped at it. But this missed the mark of what I am accustomed to from Gurkha. The cigar is rolled very tight. Getting a good draw is like the old golf ball through a hose deal. Can't say much on flavors at that point, just lock jaw. Ended up cutting the cigar in half and poking a skewer through. That did the trick. The last third was a good smoke, just a shame to go through so much to get to the enjoyment of it. I ended up gifting the remaining sticks from the box to friends over the holidays. Hope they are still friends.

I read many reviews slamming these for being packed too tight and giving it a hard draw among other things, and I will have to tell you, being 1/5th of a way through the box, I have had a very nice time every time I light one up. Friends have asked me to sneak them a couple, but I think I'm going to hoard these to myself.

An extremely well constructed, great tasting, even burning smoke. This definitely deserves a place of honor in your huidor.

I smoke with my friends and family and when we get together we like to have a good smoke and some good whisky when all of use get together, and these cigars just push it up one notch higher for a great day

This "special edition premium" smoke is a bit of a disappointment to me. Several sticks were so tightly rolled there was no draw and they had to be discarded. Those that I have been able to smoke are full bodied, as promised and as enjoyable as one might hope for.

I recommend these to anyone who is looking to step up to the next level.

Horrible draw on the majority of the two boxes ordered , congratulations Gurkha . You have lost a customer. This isn't the first time I have had draw/plugged issues with Gurkha either. The flavor, what I could get from these wasn't anything special . This is when there was enough smoke to gauge it by. Only two good things came from this experience, got two great looking boxes and my last plugged Gurkha cigars

I own an event center and I smoke to relax at the end of the night, normally in the hot tub.

went to saratoga for the races, best time for it, also golf tournament, and last went to the casino same week.
