I was really hoping for a nice cigar, but these are far from nice. Their robustness and flavor are at extremes. Some I can smoke all the way, and others I'd be lucky to get 1/4 the way through before discarding. And I find this very odd seeing they all came from the same bundle.

Burns very clean and had a good maduro flavor. The wrapper comes undone a bit more than my more expensive choices. However they do burn very evenly, so really wasn’t a big issue. For the price I highly recommend these. I will be purchasing again.

Thompson Cigar has VERY GOOD SMOKES.. THE TIME to receive them is RIDICULOUS, though! I need to learn I'm a REGULAR customer... CAN'T AFFORD MUCH ( perhaps that' plays a role), but I order what I can WHEN I can.. and the shipping and taxes MAKE IT HAVING ME WANT TO STOP ordering!

Not anything like a "normal" Gurkha. Really inconsistent. First one out of the bundle drew poorly, then 10-15 minutes in to the smoke, a hole burned out the side of the wrapper two inches below the cherry (see photo).

Gurkha makes no trash and these inexpensive fumas are the proof of this. Out of the maso the flavor was not impressive. After two weeks in the humidor there was a marked improvement. They keep getting better. I will be ordering more of these.
