Wherever you go in the Dominican Republic, you’ll see the locals light up El Artista Bambino. When it comes to their puros, you know the Dominicans know a thing or two about them. After all, they grow the tobacco, they age it and blend it, and they make some damn fine cigars from it. So when they choose El Artista Bambino it’s with the assurance that it meets their criteria of excellence.

Now this fine cigar is being released for export, and now finally it’s being made available outside the confines of the Dominican Republic. Experience for yourself the old formula of fine Dominican Olor tobaccos that hearken back to the pre-revolutionary Cuban blends that were taken to the Dominican Republic. There they helped to establish a thriving cigar business.

Not bad cigars. And the price was normal for these cigars. But you raised the price and made them very expensive for this quality of cigar.

Sent me wrong cigars. Wanted natural, they sent Maduro claiming they are natural.

Great little bambinos. I cut them in half for short robustos for my morning smoke. I have smoked 20 of these and had no problems. Good taste, not premium for the 5 stars but a good smoke.

There were some wrapper issues and most were a little to tight making them hard to draw and keep lit.

Very enjoyable - have found some other brands (somewhat more expensive) from Thompson more to my taste but will keep these on hand - like variety in my daily selection - good value for the money

Found these to be just average low buck cigars. I've smoked about half of the bundle and they all have had draw and burn issues. Not a bad stick to throw in the golf bag to enjoy during the round - would never consider having one of these at the "19th hole" with a good glass of scotch!

I enjoy cigars on my back porch with great bourbon, preferably Bookers, in a brandy snifter. The El Artista Bambino is the perfect accompaniment. The professional reviewers have missed it with this one.

A pretty decent medium bodied stick, has a nice flavor with a hint of spice. This is one of the better medium to full flavor sticks thompson offers. This stick is not for someone that likes a mild smoke, this one has a little kick.

Great Medium Flavor Cigar - Seriously, does it get any better? Start with Presentation: Dark smooth Natural wrapper, classy and sensual, not too light like a beginners, not too dark like a tasty maduro. Man, what a nice looking band, its artistic, its gold foil stands out and speaks of its class. Smoke: Smooth, but not light. Flavor, but not heavy. Taste: creamy, full, good body. You can inhale this one, there's no bitter aftertaste. Don't let the great price fool you into thinking that you need to spend more for a great smoke. This is well worth your time.

I like a cigar while I'm doing yard work, playing poker, pool, etc. So, the length of the bambino both in size and smoke duration are about right.

This has got to be one of the best buys in inexpensive cigars available on the market today. It has good flavor, easy to light and draw, and is a nice looking cigar. I try to enjoy at least one of these every day. It has been a real source of pleasure to me.

These cigars surprised me with their excellent flavor while retaining a mild quality. It is like mild, full-bodied flavor. They smoke smoothly throughout, and burn evenly. Nice and long, the make the enjoyment of the smoke last longer.
