Both are very good smokes. I took them on vacation and had one of each to compare. The balance of both cigars is good. Both sticks have a mild smooth flavor. Of the 4 I have tried (2 each) I found the Montecristo seems a little loosely rolled. I have always enjoyed Partagas.

I enjoy sitting on my front porch or out on my pool deck relaxing with a cigar from Thompson Cigar.

enjoyed the sampler for the most part, but found two of the Montecristo platinum hard to draw, even using a ice pick to aid, with no improvements, sorry not one to complain. but felt I need to bring to your attention.

Every day smokes

Loved both sticks...both have a great smooth flavor both burn nice and slow. However the Montecristo has a slight better draw and burn. Buts its like comparing a Lincoln to a Cadillac . Great little smokes

Trying the Partagas against the Montecristo has been a pleasure. The balance of both cigars is perfect. Both sticks have a mild smooth flavor. being able to buy a package like this gives me a chance to try and compare quality cigars at a great price.
