Davidoff Nicaragua Box-Pressed Toro (6" x 52) is an extension of Davidoff's Nicaragua line that has the cigar industry abuzz. The Nicaragua Box-Press is slightly different than the non-pressed variety in that it utilizes a Habano Oscuro wrapper instead of a Rosado. It's a medium-to-full bodied Nicaraguan puro with leaves from the regions of Ometepe, Jalapa, Condega, and Esteli.

I’m a big Davidoff fan, particularly these boxed pressed Nicaraguans. However, some of the cigars in the box were pinched. Also, one of them was a disaster to smoke. The outside wrapper was brittle and pealed off during the smoke, which is very unusual for a Davidoff. I wonder what conditions they were kept in before they arrived in my humidor.
