I was looking forward to getting this 5 pack. I haven't had a Red Dot in several years, and I figured I was better prepared to appreciate it now. I have burned two of them so far, and have been disappointed... pretty much underwhelmed with the flavor. I actually get better flavor from some of my name brand "fumas" smokes, at a MUCH lower price point. To me, these were simply "blah"...

This is an all around versatile cigar. Perfect for any occasion. I'm generally into darker more full bodied cigars, such as Maduros and Sumatras, but when I want something a little lighter, very enjoyable, smooth, and/or not sure what to grab out of the humidor.... this is my go to more often than not.

Thompsons is a good company that offers very good deals. I often but the 5 pack deals and have bought boxes as well. They've come a long way but I still shop around. They're customer service is pretty good too. My only complaint is that they don't offer discounts on premium cigars. I've found smaller companies that offer premium cigars at better prices along with free shipping and free shipping means if I order on a Monday, I'll get them before the week is out.
