Most of them were pretty good. There were 2 that stood out and I ordered more. The Hellion Devil's own was a very good spicy cigar, but the 10 I ordered were not the same. I also ordered empress of cuba natural s and what I received were Maduro. Again, NOT THE SAME... THIS WILL BE MY LAST ORDER!

Overall this is a nice sampler for my tastes. I wanted to try some of the brands offered. However... The Victor Sinclair Cabinett 99 in the sampler I received was severely dried out, shriveled up like a raisin, and the outer wrapper was falling off before I even took the cellophane off. I could see before I opened it that it was a throwaway. Whoever picked this for the order should have tossed it; it never should have made it into shipping. That said, the rest of the cigars arrived in varying degrees of humidity and I think they will be right again after a short stay in the humidor. I'm looking forward to trying some of these.

These were great cigars for my Alaskan fly fishing trip. However, one of the Gurkha cigars burn down like a straw house, ash breaking off early. It was not an enjoyable smoke. So, one bad smoke out of 16.

I like to relax after work with a good smoke playing poker. I have been reluctant to purchase different cigars, only to be disappointed with a not so great smoke. Traditionally, I have smoke the more mild type of cigars, so when my sampler arrived the first cigar I smoked was the PDR 1878 Madura. Wow! What a good cigar, with a great flavor and burn.. If this one is an indication of the remaining sampler, I look forward to some good cigars. I will never buy from a cigar shop again! Thompson Cigars is my new shop.

I knew I had to buy this sampler just buy looking at the picture. This sampler contains several quality cigars. I regulary go to local cigar shops and these same cigars would retail minimum [$] each. The only thing I am dissatisfied with, is that Thompson switched a few of the cigars I wanted most from the sampler with a similar cigar. I understand that it is stated that they may switch some cigars if they are out of stock, but still once you have tried as many cigars as I have you really start to have your preferences honed in on certain cigars. Overall, I would recommend this sampler. Even though some cigars are switched, they are still good name brand cigars.

This sampler was fantastic. Had a solid variety of different smokes, all of which were easily enjoyable by even the most novice of cigar smokers. I espcially enjoyed the shortie torpedo NUB Connecticut. The only drawback about samplers from TCC is that very rarely is there an Ashton Churchill in any of them. I would definitely like to see more of those, as they are one of my all-time favorite cigars.
