Beautiful humidor

Good humidor for the price. Could maybe use a little bigger humidifier.

The Humidor itself is gorgeous. Deep cherry wood finish. External Hygrometer is very stylish but doesn't work properly. Might need calibrated. I have a digital hygrometer inside to check accuracy. The Shipping Method on this was AWFUL. Took over 14 days to receive it. I've never waited more than 4-5 days for anything from Thompson.

This Bally 100 Count Humidor was just what I was looking for.

I was somewhat disappointed: first, it was not "Cherry" Wood, and second, the hygrometer is not calibrated and does not function even once I did the salt-water-in-the-zip lock-bag calibrating as suggested. Since I didn't open the gift right away, I didn't want to go through the expected hassle commonly associated with attempting to send it back. Not sure what to do with it now! I rated it one star only because I did receive it on time and otherwise undamaged.

Doesn’t work.

I was very disappointed that the hygrometer did not work. After contacting Customer Care I was told that I would receive a replacement in 7 days. Then I was told about 5 days later that you didn’t have any to send me. I will probably never shop at your website again.

Well whoever packed it did not pack a key with our Bally humidor and we can not open it for it is locked. The box itself is beautiful but we can not use it!! This was a Christmas present for my brother he has contacted you and guess a key is being mailed but very disappointed with service.

I bought this for my Son-in-Law for Christmas, I finally got to see it. He was impressed with the look and quality.

Can not hold the humidor level between 65-70, 60 is the best I have achieved.

Very nice but won't get over 60% humidity even with 2 humidifiers.

Humidor is nice, returned one and received a replacement because the hydrometer does not work. The hydrometer on the replacement does not work as well. Maybe the external hydrometer is for decoration. Need to get a hydrometer replacement. If not;will return the replacement humidor as well.

Prepped it according to instructions. can’t seem to get the humidity above 60 percent. Top pull out tray could have better ‘handle’ or grab portion to lift out.

the Humidor works very well. The break-in instructions were concise and well explained. The Box keeps the cigars well.

I bought this to store my infused cigars separately. It is easy to set up and everything you need comes with it as well as simple instructions for set up. Plus it looks great.

My Bally 100 Count Humidor is easy to keep at the right humidity and it was simple to season it to keep my cigars smokin' good.

My first humidor, and not impressed with the way the hygrometer sits in the front. The quality of the humidor construction and look is great. However, the hygrometer falls out easily and after seasoning the humidor, it doesn't seam to be keeping a consistent temp. I added a digital hygrometer inside just to be on the safe side, and with four 72 degree Boveda packs based on the number of cigars I had inside, it's only keeping a humidity at around 61-63%. I recently purchased the Barrel Humidor Combo with digital hygrometer, and much happier with it. The Bally will not hold 100 unless your adding cigarellos to that count, so don't purchase it as a large humidor. It's best for around 40-50 cigars. I'm going to contact customer service to look into an exchange.

Brought as a gift for new smoker. Seems to hold humidity level. It did not receive 5 stars due to the hygrometer which I feel could be better. Also the shelf is a little hard to lift. Placing a small lip to help when lifting would be a good thing. Friend has to remove cigars from the top before lifting the shelf. Other than that he is extremely happy with his gift.

After proper seasoning and purchase of a "Large 70% Rh (BLACK Cap) Heartfelt Humidity Tube" from another site, it works and holds a 65%-70% humidity level. The hygrometer built into the humidor takes a few days to get an accurate reading and mirrors the same humidity level as my digital one. Overall I'm happy with it. It's holding approx. 40-60 cigars currently.

I bought this and NEITHER the hydrogemeter NOR the lock worked. Its one thing buying it and not having one of the central features work. But having TWO of them not work?! Its INEXCUSABLE. Sure, it looks good but so do plenty of other humidors with WORKING hydrogemeters and locks. Dont buy!!

I use this humidor to store my best sticks. I find it hard to get humidor to go from 60% to around 70 - 75% after seasoning. The humidor looks geat.

well guys I keep my cigars in my safe it has an electric and it works real good for me.

So far this works well. It keeps moisture in, but to place the Humidifier in the box takes up 20% of the room, so I opted for the Thompson jars. Using two keeps humidity perfect.

We love the humidor. Works great and looks fabulous.

The humidor itself looks very good and seems to hold humidity well. The hygrometer was very easy to adjust as it was about 8% or so off. Now for the bad, the humidifier was cracked when i took it out of the bubble wrap. Also, the humidor itself had a crack in it from whoever installed the locking device over tightened the screws. I deducted 1 star for each crack/flaw. If i had it to do over i'd spring for a more quality built humidor.

The jury's out on this one. The humidity fluctuates and the hygrometer leaves a lot to be desired. Overall it does the job and was priced right, though.

My very first humidor and I would say that it is very well made and would recommend to all my family and friends. I've had no problems setting it up and keeping it at the proper levels. I'm very happy with the purchase. Both thumbs up

I like the humidifier it works great store about 75 cigars in I had to put the humidifier in the bottom because it kept fall on top of cigars. but overall would tell friends to buy.

Only negative is analogue hygrometer/not accurate

This humidifier looks great, I found that I had to season it for 2 weeks before I would hold humidity at a constant level. The analog hydrometer is way off even after adjusting it and calibrating with my digital hydrometer. The only issue I had is that the first humidifier arrived with a chip on the front and Thompson replaced it without any questions.

Color of actual humidor was quite different than on the Internet. It appears to be a dark brown stain and when it arrived it was more of a redwood color.

This humidor was pretty inexpensive, shipped fast, and was delivered without issue. Instructions were included for care and seasoning of the humidor. I followed instructions to the T, and within a few days had my cigars into storage. The only issue I had and still have is the fluctuation of the hygrometer readings. First off, it sticks in the 50-70% range. Using a digital hygrometer I was able to determine that the humidity was in fact in the low 40's. I re-calibrated the analog hygrometer according to instructions and again, the needle would stick in the 50-70% range again. This time I had all of my cigars in my large Xikar humidor and the Bally had been kept dry for a couple of days. Digital hygrometer showed low 10's for humidity and the analog was ~55%. Invest in a good digital hygrometer and ignore the one included. It's basically useless. - 1 star. In other ares, this humidor shines. It's high quality for the price, attractive to look at, has plenty of space, and seasons well. Provided you keep an eye on your humidity levels frequently, I haven't found a better box for the price. You should get it!

Great look and craftsmanship. The seal does not hold humidity. This is my second humidor. I've seasoned properly and use the gel crystals to keep humidity. Can't get humidity above 56%. I will be contacting Thompson for a refund or an exchange of humidor. If humidity would hold, I would give 5 stars.
