2015's #16 Cigar Of The Year is now available in 5 Pack Fever!

AVO Syncro Nicaragua Super Toro (6" x 60) is the first box-pressed cigar made by AVO, but far from their first rodeo. The brand made it to Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list shortly after it came out. A true instant hit. Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian fillers are tucked into a Habano wrapper from Ecuador creating a medium to full bodied flavor - a break from their usual smoother blends that put AVO cigars on the global stage. The more you buy, the greater the savings (up to 4 different 5-packs). Discount is shown at cart.

What's not to like!
I am a fan of Nicaraguan cigars and this one didn't let me down. A good medium-full stogie that is fun to share. This is a new must keep for the humidor.

Has become a consistent reorder for me.
This has become a go-to stick for me when I'm in the mood for a bit more body. Has inspired me to try additional AVOs, which I've enjoyed, but the box pressed Synchro Nicaragua Toro is the standard for me.

First try
This is the first time I tried an Avo Syncro. I purchased a 5 pack. The flavor was good, but unremarkable. Although I would buy them again. A good every day smoke. Not overly strong.

One of my favorites!
AVO is consistently one of the best smokes out there... doesn't matter which one... Always tasty and well constructed cigars. My favorites being Ritmo, Syncro and Fogata in that order. I've already recommended them to several of my buddies.

Dessert Cigar
First time smoking this cigar, and I really enjoyed it. Prelight - hay, earthy, barnyard. Box pressed - done very well, although I don't really care that its a box press. Wrapper - silky smooth, beautiful. Taste - great flavors, complex, rich, creamy, leather, Strength - has that Nicaraguan kick, but I don't consider it a strong cigar. Nice to enjoy after a meal. My dessert cigar.

Really Good
I really like this cigar. It has a very full flavor palette, with that earthy, cedar flavor that the best Nicaraguans have.

Okay, but not impressed
This brand didn't do anything to wow me... nice pull, consistent smoke but lacked in the flavor and note category to really appeal to my liking.

AVO's never disappoint
I have tried all the different AVO's and been impressed with quality, cost and taste. This particular blend is my favorite with just the right balance between flavor and power. I bought these through 5 Pack Fever which is the best bargain around! Thanks, Thompson's!

Great new addition to my humidor
I tried one that I bought in a cigar shop. Went home and ordered some. I went through them and ordered a lot more. It is now stocked in my humidor. It is a great addition.

I've had only one out of the five pack
This one was hard to light. Difficult draw for about the first inch. It was okay after that. Uneven burn after that. Will give a couple more a try before I give up on this one. It had quite a good flavor though.

Would buy again and again
Great aroma easy draw

Love these!
These are great smokes - but don't buy them as I want them all! A Padron-like smoke. Great medium flavor and lot's of nuance and character. These are AVO's like they used to make them!

Great deal, Greater Smoke
While this is not a nicaraguan pure, it is a pleasure to burn. The construction was spot on, every puff was an easy draw and plentiful smoke. Flavors were enjoyable. All in all this was a solid, consistent smoke. If this smoke was bit more complex then it would've been on my list of TOP ever smokes. Which is tough to reach - but with this smoke being so consistent with construction, draw, and flavor it was just a pleasant smoke, especially after I've smoke too many cigars with burn issues and took too much relighting and monitoring to enjoy.

Pleasant surprise!
Intrigued by how a company can keep a cigar consistent from a 2015 rating... this one sure does! It's a joy to smoke. A bit stronger for us mild/medium people but with well made cigars... a mild smoker can handle a stronger strength. There are a couple of times the flavors will kind of "explode" in your mouth... you'll smile when it does.

Great Stick !
This was the first time that I've tried this cigar. I have smoked two of them and am very pleased. Great, even burn and very good flavor.

Great Cigar!
I am still a rookie, but this is one of the better if not best cigars that I have had to date. Really easy smoke and a nice draw. Listed as a medium to full-bodied, but to me it was more of a mild to medium. I just wished the boxed-pressed burned a little more even. I definitely will be ordering more of these!

Very pleased!
Great taste. Easy drawn. I agree with the "med-full" strength. I enjoyed this very much and looking forward to the others I have

AVO Syncro Nicagragua Toro Ecuador, a great cigar!
You can't go wrong with any Cigar that Davidoff makes. This is a true Davidoff, and probably the most affordable, but truly terrific! Lasts about an hour, great draw, consistent burn, mild/medium, and never feel light-headed after smoking this! One of my favorites for sure!

Good flavor and even burn.
Tried the Synchro as part of a 5 pack fever deal. No regrets. Good flavor to the finish with an even burn. One Definitely one I'll add to my list of favorites

This Cigar is top notch!
This is great in the Spring and Summer on the deck by the pool listening to your favorite Baseball team. These with a good Pinot Grigio are second to none! Any Cigar made by Davidoff is Outstanding!

Decent, but not the usual AVO
Easy to light, but had to re-light on the golf course. Didn't last 4 holes as it was a fast burner when lit. Had some wrapper issues.

I would buy this cigar again and again.
First things first: I took an initial puff and said, "Heaven," out loud. Heaven! Heaven from the first puff all the way down to the nub. Couldn't put it down until I'd finished the whole thing--and I wanted another one right then and there! This was possibly the finest smoke of my entire life (with possible competition from a real Havana I was presented with 'way back in the early 1960s (pre Castro, I think) by a new family in-law--a real gourmet--when his son married one of my sisters). It's the only smoke I've ever had that ran the gamut from mild to full-body, and left me wanting to analyze it more. I demand a lot from a cigar. If I don't have a lasting high within 15 - 18 minutes, I don't want it. I limit myself to one cigar every five or more days in order to fully savor the succeeding cigar, and I only smoke outdoors while I take a walk. The AVO was downright delicious from beginning to end. Ordinarily I tend to want a medium-to-full-body smoke, and I worried that this stick might be a bit mild for me, but it was Perfect. Yeah, there were a couple of downsides: the wrapper blew off halfway through my walk (it might not have been properly humidified, for all I know--I didn't buy it through Thompson), and the light was uneven...but it stayed lit. Not that I cared; if you'd run a samurai sword through me by that time, I'd have laughed at you. I prefer Churchill-length cigars that last for 1 1/2 hours, and smoke them for an hour the first time and a half-hour on another day, but at 6 inches long and 45 minutes' duration, this baby was worth the sacrifice of an additional day of smoking. I'm looking forward to establishing a long relationship with this magnificent cigar.

Hard to resist
This cigar is the one cigar that calls to me each time I open the humidor. It's hard to resist, yet I don't want to run-out! The draw is perfect. The flavor is subtle at the start, working its way toward caramel, cream and cedar in the middle. It finishes with a nice pepper and spice, but not overwhelming enough to say enough. I would say this stick takes one on a real flavor journey.

Great Smoke!!!
Excellent Smoke and Very Good Taste!

Smooth and well constructed
This cigar has shot to one of my go to cigar list As well constructed as any premium I smoke, this is my first AVO and definitely not my last. I'd consider this closer to medium than full, but robust, consistent flavor from beginning to end.
