THIS WAS NOT THE BEST (NOR WORST) CIGAR I HAVE EVER TRIED... VERY STRONG TASTE, DRY AND HARD TO DRAW ON AND THE WRAPPER CRACKED ON MOST OF THE CIGARS THAT I HAVE SMOKED. I HAVE ONE MORE TO SMOKE SO I WILL KEEP TRYING.

I don't think I did purchase Ave Maria Lionhearts. I haven't yet seen the charge which is good. And they're not my style or taste.

Too strong for me. These cigars are a little harsh on the front end. I can usually get used to it but they are overwhelming to nub down! If you like a strong, leathery burn, try em. Well made cigar though - will give them that.

Pretty good every day stick, especially after sitting in the humidor for a couple weeks.

These always taste great however more than have split while i was smoking them. Kept in a humidor at a steady 70% humidity and was not smoking them too fast. I guess they needed longer to stabilize in my humidor

I was pleasantly surprised to find th at I enjoyed the taste of this new cigar. I don't often stray from my usual, the Nub 360 with Connecticut wrapper, but this was a twin pack deal. It is a mild cigar with a smooth, even draw. I liked it so much that I ordered more.

A nice cigar -smooth -good construction

This is a good cigar! I enjoy the size, the easy draw and the mild flavor. It pairs well with a lager or blonde ale, or even an iced tea. It burns evenly and smokes well. Mine came as a part of a boxed press sampler and I am well pleased with it. Would definitely order again.

Poorly rolled. I had a couple unravel while smoking and another that split down the middle as soon as I lit it. The taste was ok.

Great medium body smoke, with notes of cedar, leather and some sweet spice... flawless construction and even burn... sad I didn't get this in a larger vitola! Next time!

Outstanding quality. Solid smooth medium flavor through the whole smoke. It is now a permanent brand in my humidor. I will keep an eye out for deals on this and other Ava Maria smokes. Great draw solid burn of 1 in or longer ash. Enhances the flavor of a good porter and/ or a good sipping bourbon. Pairs well with Horse Soldier bourbon and Sweet Baby Jesus porter.

My first time for me to buy or smoke the Ava Maria Lionheart. I am very impressed with this great smoking cigar. Perfect flavor and smoothness from start to finish! This cigar will become a permanent staple in my humidor.

The Ave Maria's are by far some of the best cigars I have ever had!

I’ve always really liked these cigars (regular Ave Maria), and have introduced them to many fellow cigar friends of mine who now are lovers of Ave Maria as well. The Divinia is my all-time favorite in the Ave Maria line, but the regular Ave Maria is really good, and at a reasonable price.

Well made cigar. Was not as strong a smoke as I expected, but overall a very good smoke. Amazing that a cigar band as big as this would come off so easily without pulling off any wrapper. I would recommend this cigar to my "friends."

I felt this cigar had a lot of potential but it was so dried out I could not really enjoy it.

This smoke is a 4.5. Very good, to almost great. Draw can be a little light at times, but still very good. The cigar never disappoints.

I was honestly surprised by this stick. It came in a five pack along with A five pack of the CAO Flathead 660, and I really just bought the pack because I wanted the Flatheads. I had never even heard of The Ave Maria brand before. However, these Lionheart sticks were far better in terms of construction and consistency of draw compared to the Flatheads. In terms of flavor and strength, these were very mild. Some might even say that these are flavorless. I normally like a punchier flavor in my cigars, but this mild tobacco flavor was pleasant enough and a nice change of pace. I would also note that the smoke output for these sticks was quite high, which I enjoyed. Overall, a very enjoyable smoking experience that more people should try, especially fans of box-pressed cigars. I highly recommend the Ave Maria Lionheart.

Ave Maria Lionheart. The box pressed cigar feels great to hold. Very classy. No visible blemishes. The first few puffs after lightning this somewhat petite cigar hit me hard right away. It's dynamite if I could describe its potency. At about an inch of burn, it starts to smoke smoothly. Minor burn issues but that's normal for even more expensive cigars. The ashes continued to appear grayish. Probably from the combination of different tobacco leaves it was made. The burn is slow but it still produced volumes of billowing smoke, which I like. I like it when I could gaze at the smoke ascending slowly. A great experience when smoking alone. They say a man smoking alone is never alone. Truly a wonderful companion with my favorite white wine. The flavor is complex. No hint of bitterness. I smoked it to the nub. Despite its physical shortness, my cigar lasted for an hour and a half. I highly recommend this cigar.
