Thompson Twins
Bought these as a gift for 2 soon-to-be dads (unrelated). ALL the cigar shops here are closed due to Covid, started researching online- found Thompson Cigar. Placed my order, got my package pretty quickly, cigars were in great shape. Thompson will be my go-to now.

This is a great cigar for the affordable price.
This is a good choice while working in the yard or relaxing afterward.

They Are Ok
These don't have any frills (not extra smooth/strong nor any prominent flavors/aromas) to them, just standard (plain) tobacco cigars. The construction could be better, as they left a lot of residue in the mouth. But, for the price, you keep moving with them. Price is the selling point for these. I would use a higher quality if introducing someone to cigars.

Great Cigar

A Real Disappointment
I was very disappointed to find such poor construction of a very good flavored cigar. I bought 4 bundles, thinking that for the price, they would be an excellent everyday smoke. The wrappers were so poorly rolled that at least 1/2 of them disintegrate before being 1/2 smoked. They were properly stored in a very good humidor so that issue was ruled out, leaving me to conclude that they were just shoddy in the rolling process. (A real shame too, because they have a very good flavor.)

Good everyday smoke
A nice everyday smoke.

Loosely rolled
I have yet to smoke one that didn't fall apart before the end. They are so loosely rolled that when you cut the end it falls apart. There are much better cheap cigars.

I won't buy this product again...
I like to smoke a mild cigar but these cigars seem to be harsh and bitter. The wrapper is dry and flaky...not good.

I smoke cheap cigars
I like hand rolled inexpensive cigars but I want a decent smoke. I find the A Fermins fit the bill for me. There are few flaws and the cosistency overall is quite good for the money.

Mild surprise
Very nice smoke, however could be slightly larger in diameter

I use it about every other day

Too much whiz and not enough bang"
good flavor - most had uneven burn.

Not too happy.
I still like the cigar.

Good value, but don't expect too much.
Good flavor and low price. These are rolled quite loosely so the end likes to deteriorate and lose tobacco while you are smoking. This can be annoying, but overall these are a good value. I am a daily smoker and use these as a humidor stuffer. I wouldn't recommend smoking only these, but if you trade them off with other daily smokes then these are a good buy.

Not bad!
I use this product least twice a day, driving in my jeep to and from work. It's smaller than the normal cigars that I buy, but the bang for the buck, it's great!

Not bad, not great
I've been in search of a decent "everyday" cigar that is in my price range($30/bundle) and I guess this is the best I can do. At first I was not happy, but discovered that a few weeks in the humidor really does a world of good for these cigars. Some have a bit of a bite, but overall this is not a bad cigar. I'd like better flavor, but I'm a cheapskate, and the flavor is "ok" with me. The thing that I find most irritating with a cheap or any cigar is when they draw or burn poorly but these cigars do both fairly well. Maybe one in ten is rolled a tad too tight, but most draw well. Yes, I would recommend this cigar to a fellow cheapskate.

Best of the cheaper lonsdales
I prefer the Antonio Fermin Lonsdale over (in order of decreasing pleasure) the Flor de Gonzalez Fuma, the La Veleza corona, and the Thompson Explorer Lonsdale. I liked the Corojo Cubano better, but I try to stay around a buck a stick. I'll buy the Antonio Fermin again, more next time. It's packed a little loosely, but all in all it's my cheap favorite.

You get what you pay for...
The very first few cigars were the "best". I'm not a daily smoker, but I know a good cigar when I smoke one. These cigars are meant for an hourly smoker or perhaps someone who is occasionally joined by people who don't know anything 'bout cigars but want to smoke. By all means give these to those you don't want to share your good sticks with.

Cheap, but I will pass.
I bought these on sale. Three packs for the price of one. I would not buy these again even at this price. The cigars are not for me. They constantly have to be lit again and fall apart during smoking. Due to the loose wrap, they smoke extremely fast.

Overall good smoke.
I am retired and on a farm. I smoke 3 -4 a day while puttering around the machines etc.

Very Easy Draw. It had a nice flavor. not phenomenal, but nice. would definitely recommend as an everyday cigar, especially for the price.

Has Potential
I liked the fact the wrapper had a nice dark color to it and every cigar had intact wrappers with no construction issues. However, these cigars were delivered extremely dry and as one reviewer said - it was best to remove the cellophane and put them into the humidor for re-hydration. As I unwrapped each cigar I noticed little aroma from the cigars and my afterwards my hands had little if any residual fragrance from handling the cigars. I've smoked one each day since, and I would have to say that they are extremely mild with little taste, they burn quickly due to their loose packing, and they appear to be thinner in ring gauge compared to all other lonsdales I have in my humidor. Had I not got them as a deal of the day that also provide free shipping for the the order - I would have been unpleased, especially since their were so many positive reviews for them.

Your kidding, right?
I ordered these from the deal of the day. 40 sticks for [$]. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from these but figured it was worth a shot. Was I pleasantly surprised ! These are really tasty and very worthy of a high score. I would not hesitate in ordering these many more times

Why beat around the bush?.....I'm cheap!
As the headline stated, I'm cheap! I've tried, and continue to try, cigars offered by Thompson that sell for a buck or less. Some were good and some were bad. This cigar is consistantly good and has become my favorite.

a decent smoke for the price
Not a good cigar to chew on while driving or working, but a good smoke while its burning.

Do not Purchase
I would not buy this cigar again, not at any price! it is the worst cigar I have ever smoked. The construction is so bad I am constantly spitting out bits of filler. I am throwing the rest in the garbage these are not even worth the trouble of returning them.

Taste is hit or miss. Wrapper sometimes unraveled after cutting. Construction is fair. Not bad if you don't have anything else to smoke.

Not bad for an everyday smoke. Wrapper sometimes fell apart but otherwise o.k.

Disappointed
You can get a better cigar at the gas station. It is not firm enough to use a cigar cutter on, never mind, the cap just peels off. It burns so easily, it will fill the room with smoke quickly.
4 out of 5
Good buy
This is the least expensive all tobacco cigar. They are made without any sheet wrappers or binders. The flavor and draw are good but they aren't beautiful works of art. For a lonsdale at this price; a great bargain.

Not so great...
This cigar is "just ok" for me. I am just getting familiar with cigars, but for someone just getting started, I don't think I would suggest this one. The taste was bitter to me and the after taste wasn't pleasing. When clipping the tip, the cigar began to peel away with almost every draw. It's a nice sized cigar and has an easy draw with it, especially when clipped, but having to pick bits and pieces of it off my tongue isn't fun.

Pleasant Suprise
When I first tried this cigar I was amazed at the draw and burn to it. It has earthy flavor to it, and I impressed my friends with it one night at the sports bar too. The price is what makes this cigar a steal. I'll be looking to order more of these.

cheaper cigar that actually tastes good
At first I only enjoyed these cigars on the golf course. Lately, I have been lighting them up while sipping a good single malt in the evening. Looks like I'll be giving my "premium" cigars to my guests. I'm sticking with Antonio Fermin full time.

Decent knock around
This is a decent smoke, especially considering the price. Burns well, tastes decent. About a third of the way the flavor was pretty good, though no notable influences. It got bitter toward the end.

Dollar Smokes
I'm always on the lookout for a value cigar. These fit the bill nicely for giving away to friends to celebrate the birth of a new baby, and I had a few leftover for ice fishing! Easy to light, quick to smoke makes for a nice everyday cigar. [...]

Some had wrapper damage, that is holes in the wrapper that were caused by small tobacco sticks in the cigar

Pleasantly suprised
Just got these today. didn't have much extra cash and wanted to buy some cheap smokes. these were a real surprise. i wasn't expecting such a nice flavor or such an easy draw. probably the easiest draw ive ever had from a cigar, and ive had the best. the only downside to this cigar is a shorter smoke time than i like but thats not really a big deal. Bottom line: for your money, these are GREAT cigars!

This bargain priced smoke is tasty and never smokes harsh, even down to the ring. I've shared with friends and they're all impressed with the flavor of this cigar at this price point.

emergency smoke
I bought these gars as a fill-in until my regular shipment arrived. Very inexpensive cigar and a pretty good mild flavor. The ring is a little small for me and they don't seem to be packed very solid and need some extra TLC when cutting and taking a drag or they will tend to fall apart.

Not so much
Mild and bland but inexpensive and a break from your regular smoke

Good Deal Fair Cigar!
Cigar seemed "empty" no real filler so quick burn.

Good Bang For The Buck
Good cigar for the money. Nice, easy draw with a good, mellow flavor with very little or no bite at the last draw. I'll be ordering some of these on a regular basis. I don't see any cons with a cigar in this price range. Thompson Cigars hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Not Bad for an [$] Smoke
What attracted me was the Lonsdale size and the Natural wrapper. While they are a little rough in the construction, the burn was even, the aroma pleasant and the flavor decent. They benefit from some time resting in the humidor.
3 out of 5
good product for the price
good smoke

No surprise here
Why is it that inexpensive cigars always seem to have that same funky taste, even though the photos make them look so good? One always hopes to find a "sleeper", a diamond at a rhinestone price. This was not it. Don't get me wrong, it's worth the money, it just wasn't worth any more.

What a surprise!
I bought these cigars a the sale price expecting a so-so smoke. To my delightful surprise, I loved them as well as my macanudos! They are everything I look for in a fine smoke. I will keep buying these and recommending them to friends.
