Coming out the box was horrible experience for me. It was hard to keep lite and wrapper breaking during the smoke. I did find leaving in humidor for week, it was a bit better.

I have always liked the Alec BradleyTempus series. The cigars I received from Thompson were so dry that they could not be cut in any way without crumbling. I called Customer service and they were replaced. The replacements were much better, although still a bit on the dry side. The cigar overall, is a good smoke; I will just be purchasing it elsewhere from now on.

This was one of the worst cigars I've ever had. I hate to say this about an Alec Bradley as I love the Presado, Family Blend Lineage, Black Market and others, but this was awful. I smoked the Tempus Inceptio which I don't think is available anymore, but it has the same wrapper as these and was the 5.5 by 46. It had a very bitter and chemical taste to it and I could only get through half of it waiting for the taste to get better. Once a again I've never had an AB that I didn't like or love. Maybe I just got a bad one, but buyer beware.

I have bought a couple 10 packs. They definitely have a darker flavor than the standard Tempus. The finish has some subtle cherry notes. The draw has been slightly difficult with some of them and an occasional uneven burn that may require a touchup. But overall these are great cigars that I would not hesitate to purchase again and again.

I was reccomded this Tempus Toro, and I'm not impressed in the least. I've smoked two so far, and although it's supposed to be full bodied, it doesn't do anything for my palette. The finis is rough. I notice nothing complex. It tastes like a cigar that was smoked last week, and relit. The aroma is acceptable, but not enticing. It has plenty of smoke, it burns well, but it's lacking complexity. I had to purge it several times, but it improved the finish momentarily. Either I have a bad batch, or it's just my palette. It's nothing like the Black Market, not even close to the El Rico Habano. It's simply not for me.
