This lighter was a free gift. The review is not about the lighter, but Thompson themselves. I will start by saying that it took me over a month to get my refund for the 2nd. box of stale Undercrown cigars from them. I only received a refund after finally opening a PayPal case. Almost every cigar I have ever bought from Thompson has been old and stale, even after spending up to a month in my humidor. I've gotten ok cigars from them, but not often. I've made the decision to never buy from them again, even if there's a great sale price. I don't know if they're getting rid of old stock or not, but I do know that the same cigars from other on-line retailers have been MUCH better. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.

I am new to the cigar world but I tried ACID KUBA KUBA's and really liked them so I thought I would also try these maduro's. These are just as good if not better. Highly recommend.

Kuba kubas are The easiest smoke. No bad after taste! Everyone around you does not complain about the stink of normal cigars.

My old man and I smoke these; they are very good! I like the idea of an "infused" rather than flavored cigar. To me, "flavored" is a cheap drugstore cigar. Infused is a more involved process and results in a higher quality product. These are fairly mild, with no lingering aftertaste. They are sweetened at the end which is okay, but gives them a low quality first impression for me. That said, once you get over the added sweetness, they are quite good. Overall, these are fantastic anytime you want a mild smoke.

This was the first cigar my father ever bought for me when I got back from the Marines, so I have some sentimental attachment for that reason, but this is also one of the best tasting and best smelling cigars I have ever smoked in the near two decades I have been smoking cigars! I've never had problem with the draw or wrapper with the Kubas and once you chomp down on the stogie the unique taste will stay on your lips and make you savor the flavor of the cigar even more. The smell of the stogie when lit is truly unique and will compliment any space that the cigar is smoked. I try to always have at least a few Kubas in my humidor. I have given this cigar to novices and aficionados and I have never received a complaint from either. Instead I always get further inquiries as to where to get them and how much they are, so I've done my part in addicting many to the wonder that is the Acid Kuba Kuba. If you want to try an amazing smoke that is truly in a class of it's own, this is your worry-free stop. Buy this cigar!

These cigars have a great taste, wonderful aroma, easy draw and burn consistently. What a great cigar to smoke when you want to relax. The aroma when opening a box of these, and the Kuba Kubas, is fantastic - it doesn't get any better. I'm hooked. They're my favorite.
