They fall apart and get mushy. The burn is unreliable. Using the same cut on all of them gives an unreliable outcome.

Smoke is bad, Draw is mushey, Aroma is soso. They are not even what I ordered. They burn too quickly and are an uneven burn. Why did you send them to me in the first place!!!

Great stick for the price, there is the occasional one that has a hole in the wrapper, affecting the draw, but still a great smoke!

I keep my humidor stocked with 2 main cigars. This is one of them. Great cigar for the price tag and is perfect for when you only have about 30 min or so. And with the low price I don't mind throwing some of it away if I am even more pressed for time. Great flavor, Great draw, and Great aroma.

Not a bad cigar. A bit difficult to keep lit, and I'm not the biggest Maduro fan. In my opinion, you can find better in this price range.

This is an all around great cigar for the price. At right around 1.50 I can enjoy this as a comparable alternative to my favorite, the Rocky Patel Edge and nit break the bank doing so.

I have buying 829's for 2 years or more now. I actually like these better than many $10 cigars. I go to cigar tasting events monthly, and have tried many cigar brands. Some I like better than the 829's and some suck (for me). I Just about always wish I was smoking the 829. I don't know about you, but $8 a pop for a premium cigar is not in my budget. Sure The taste is not always the same, but never bad. I have not had any bad wrappers, and an occasional hard spot in the cigar. Just because this is a $1.20 cigar, don't count it out!

I like a reasonably priced cigar for use a few times a week. 829's are a mellow smoke for a good, casual experience.

This mixed filler will leave some loose tobacco in your mouth but delivers a pleasing aroma and reasonable amount of smoke. Taste is mild tobacco with occasional zings of spice. Smoked all sizes and shapes in this line and feel this is a great starter cigar and everyday smoke. 829 is often put in samplers by Thompson, and I would recommend those as well, as the other cigars are relatively similar and give you a greater opportunity to find the one that's right for you.

I've tried a dozen different cigars and the 829 Maduro is my favorite, by far. When my wife commented about how good the smoke smelled I knew that I had found the perfect cigar. A friend gave me my first 829 Maduro. It was a Torpedo shape. I had never smoked a Torpedo and didn't know what to expect. The wrapping did not fall apart. I was pleased with that, but I still purchased the Toro b/c it's my favorite shape. I love this cigar. Fantastic value too.

I've been smoking these for the past couple years and they have been consistently good. I've had less issues with these than any other budget priced cigar I've tried(they all have a bad wrapper once in a while). The only negative is a little bit of tobacco 'crumbs' as you smoke them, but this happens with all mixed-filler cigars.

The first one i tried had NO draw at all. That worried me, but all the rest were not bad. I had some that were tough to keep lit after half way through. Flavor is good and I enjoy the smoke. Overall, not too bad. I would purchase again for a cheep smoke.

Smoked the first 829 on the day it was delivered. It has a smooth creamy flavor, with an even burn. The ash held for a couple of inches. I enjoyed this cigar with a couple of dark beers. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Not a great smoke. Wrapper imperfection and an inconsistent burn did not put this even near the top of my daily smoke list. Spend a few dollars more and get the VSOP.

Like everyone else has said, this is a great smoke for the price. Only complaint would be that the wrapper is a bit fragile.

This would be a great daily smoke if I could get the darn thing to stay in one piece. I've never had this issue with any of the higher price/quality cigars I normally buy, but the wrapper on this one keeps falling apart. A huge disappointment.

I tried the 809 for the first time and WOW, what a great flavor and draw! I really like a mild cigar after dinner and this one hits the nail right on the head. Don't take my word for it, order and try it for yourself!!!!! Great Cigar for the price!

This is a Maduro stick that is one of my personal "Best Kept Secrets". When I'm at a Cigar Lounge, or at the Shooting Range I get the response - "That Smells Great!", "Where did you get that?". The aroma is wonderful, the taste is even better. This is my "Go To" stick, anywhere and anytime. Once you try them, you'll stock your humidor with them - Guaranteed!
