For inexpensive every day smokes they are very good. Even burn.

Like these Coronas a lot. Delayed ordering, making up my mind to buy, decided to take a chance. Glad I did! This is a quality smoke at a good price! Well made, good burn, great draw, and medium flavor that will leave you looking forward to the next one! All of this in a nice managable size, about 46 ring, rather than the nearly standard 60 ring nowadays. Try'em, you won't regret it!

Mild and smooth.

Price was great but,there is no draw, I was very upset.im sorry but they are awful, they were like trying to smoke a wooden pencil, no draw and hard as a pencil.

Bot too many because price was right and first ones were good. Inconsistent, too tight, hard draw. Not impressed. Unfortunate too because burn and flavor are good but I'm tossing half of them due to inability to get a draw.

They just would not stay lit even though I used the cigar pin to open the cigar up. Therefore the draw was very difficult as well. Will NOT order this again.

Wrapper stays on even after burning, turns off after several puff, needs constant re-lighting. Very bad cigar.

The first thing I noticed was the wrapper flaking off, when I went to cut the end it fell apart, easy to light because it's not wrapped tight, a quick burn. I would be embarrassed to give one of these to a friend, I'll reserve these for munchers.

Please don't waste your money on this.

Shared these cigars with friends at work. They all enjoyed them. We would cut them in 1/2 for that nice little smoke break. Would definitely buy them again.

Easy to light but keeping it lit was something else and to get it to burn even that happened once out of twenty cigars. I will NEVER order these again!

I would call this vitola a Panatela, or maybe a Lonsdale, and the first I've ever even seen from the Philippines, but 20 smokes in a box for $20 definitely piques my interest, and right outa the box I have to say, this is pretty darn good. I'm not one those guys who thinks mixed filler - aka "Cuban Sandwich" - smokes are beneath me. My exposure to them is somewhat limited, but I may actually prefer this type, bc this 1898 is terrific! I've read that mixed filler burns faster and therefore hotter, and that may well be true in some cases, but both this and the others I've had were certainly not hot burns. And I think the mix might actually help a stick burn more evenly. This 1898 certainly hits all my buttons: mild-to-medium bodied, good draw, even burn, nice cherry, smooth pleasant flavour, attractive band art (yeah I know ya don't smoke the band), and really cheap! I got free shipping on these from Thompson, bc they do that every now and then, so if you can be patient and wait for those promotions to come along then those are perfect times to try out something new, and I'm very happy with this one. I'll be getting more of these 1898s in the future. I've already recommended them to several friends. I think I'll try the Robustos nexr.

Quick burn , hallow during smoke, its easy to light but not as smooth.

ONE A DAY Outside wrapper had a hard time burning

I was looking for a mild value cigar. Usually smoke Gispert and Macanudo. I enjoy a cigar on a lazy afternoon with a glass of bourbon. The flavor on these are good and mild but several per box were wrapped a little tight and had a stiff draw. I have bought a couple sizes of this cigar and will definitely buy again despite the issues.

this cigar is a good smoke, but does not burn correctly. keep a lighter on hand to keep it burning evenly.

These cigars are just terrible. Either they won't stay lit or they burn up the side. I sent more time trying to get them to burn correctly than I did enjoying them. Stay away.

Very disappointed. Wrappers were loose. Over two thirds of the cigars had insect/worms holes. Some of the cigars had such bad insect damage that I had to throw them away. Others I tossed over half the cigar. DO NOT BUY THESE CIGARS.

They want to burn down 1 side, wrapper draws like it has small holes in it.

Works good as an everyday cigar.
