TOP CIGARS OF 2012

Top Cigar of 2012 Winner

Flor de Las Antillas Toro

The 2012 Cigar of the Year, the Flor de Las Antillas Toro, was named as a tribute to its maker's home country, Cuba, which is the largest of the Antilles Islands in the Carribean. Jose "Pepin" Garcia was born into a Cuban cigar industry family, but turned his family's small factory in Miami into the now famous My Fathers cigar brand headquartered in Nicaragua. The irony here is that the Flor de Las Antillas is actual a Nicaraguan Puro, which means it was rolled in Nicaragua with all Nicaraguan tobacco. But hey, we appreciate irony, especially when it means we can also buy and enjoy this full-bodied award winner.
