I purchased this beauty in June 2012, after several months of ocassional use it just stopped working. I sent the lighter back to Xikar and it was replaced with no hassles with in two weeks. I also registered the lighter and waiting for the free sheath.

Bought this lighter to replace another brand that stopped working. Not too heavy (or light). Fits perfectly in hand and keeps the thumb away from the flame. The flame adjustment is simple, and requires no tools. Register it with Xikar and get a free sheath, as well. A bit pricey, but the lifetime warranty helps justify the extra few bucks. After having several expensive, and easily broken Colibri lighters, a cigar shop owner turned me onto this little blue lighter. I have had ZERO problems with it in two+ years, even after it took a swim in the ocean, and going through the wash...twice. Mines in use almost every day and still looks good. I ALWAYS suggest this lighter to people who ask about them.
