This Humidor looks like a much more expensive humidor. I think it is a great bargain for the price. It does everything this size humidor should do and does it almost on it's own. You just need to manage it weekly or so to keep an eye on your cigars. I would recommend a smaller humidor as an incubator, so to speak. Nice job on acquiring this one Thompson!

Very well constructed and superior finish! Great seal and holds humidity well. Also comes with an air flow grate!!!!!!!!

Upon seasoning out of the box, I noticed the flimsy piece of metal with sticky sided tape on one side. This is used to attach the humidifier to the cedar by the use of two magnets on the humidifier itself. After 48 hours of seasoning the humidifier fell off of the flimsy metal beacause the magnets let loose from the back of the humidifier. Thats not the only issue, the hygrometer also had the same problem and fell off away from the sticky sided magnets provided. So the original hygrometer and humidifier are sitting on the bottom of the humidor all the way to one side taking up valuable space. The humidity is holding great right at 70%, stronger attachment methods need to be figured out on this one. Undecided.

Looks great.Has nice solid feel to it.I replaced the foam humidifier with the one with crystal gels in it, and that seems to keep the humidity level between 68%-73% and that's where I want it .And analog hygrometer was accurate to 1 point out of the box with the salt test.
