I bought the Toro Powerhouse special for a friend who's a cigar lover, after being told the special I originally wanted was not available. When he called me to thank me for the gift, he was a bit evasive at saying that he actually enjoyed the cigars he had received. He finally told me that they were o.k., but not very good. When I wrote to Thompson Cigars and recounted my concerns with both the substitution and my friend's comments on the quality of these smokes, they were very attentive and quickly sent out (free of charge) a sampler replacement of 6 other cigars that, as it turned out, were much more to my friend's liking.

i was very pleased with this purchase. The humidor is a nice cherry wood. Cigars were easy to smoke. Torch is fabulous. Only problem i had with this purchase would be the cutter. Not what i expected. I was expecting the cutter to allow the cigar to go straight through. All in all, very pleased. Even going to purchase one for a friend if this deal is ever offered again.

The cigars were very smooth and great to smoke w/family and friends around. When just want to relax I will go outside and smoke cigar to listen to the beautiful outdoors.

I am a Cigar smoking novice but I listened to the Cigar Dave show for years and I learned a couple of things from the General This company carries all the best cigars best wrappers best fillers and this package set I purchased is perfect for someone like me who enjoys a cigar on occasion but does not want to invest a fortune it gave me everything I needed cigars, humidor, lighter, cutter. the cigars smoke nice and everything worked just fine. So if you want to sample some decent cigars with decent accessories thrown in I would recommend this package.

This was and IS an awesome combo. The cigars are the best I have ever had. I also loved having the smaller humidor for my locker at the CC. Perfect. Lighter holds up GRREAT in the wind. Only thing I would change is MORE awesome cigars!!! My service was excellent...about 5 days! I have become and will be a loyal customer to Thompson! They are awesome. Period.
