For a well priced cigar the quality is good and they have a unique flavor that is enjoyable. The draw is very consistent making for a long lasting even burn. My only complaint is that at the tip as you smoke you tend to get some small pieces of tobacco. This is minor and I will purchase again

They are terrible. I bought them to smoke on the golf course and they constantly need to be re-lighted. Sometimes you get what you paid for and this was one of those times.

Taste is OK but like most "Cuban Sandwhich" constructed cigars they come apart and you get tobacco pieces stuck to your lips, etc. At about the halfway point they are pretty well shot. I know, you get what younpay for, but these some help.

It's very simple. This cigar is at best an in between smoke for yard work or hobby time. I have purchased this bundle before and accepted easily imperfection for the kind of cigar it is (mixed filler) and the price I paid. Having said this, the last bunch was the worst I had. The wrapper fell apart in minutes. The cigar didn't want to stay lit. And the draw was awful. I threw away the final six or seven cigars out of sheer frustration. I will not purchase them again!

Mainly chew on these cigars but light up and enjoy occasionally. It is important that the cigars do not have much chopped tobacco in them since they fall apart in your mouth. Sometimes they have a lot of chopped tobacco instead of the long leafs.

Great Flavor for a relatively inexpensive Cigar. They are factory 2nds, so don't expect Davidoff quality. Ordering 4 bundles at a time to take advantage of reduced prices, I have rarely found more than 2 in 100 that weren't well constructed. This one is a favorite of my brother-in-law who smokes maybe 4 cigars a year.

*Note that it was humid outside by the time I had smoked this cigar. The first third had a taste that I've haven't yet tasted before. Very slightly creamy (wasn't sweet), had a very earthy taste (as well as throughout the rest of the cigar. I find a tobacco taste quite repulsive, but this cigar remained true to an earthy taste. Don't let the strength scale fool you, this was a pretty strong cigar (considering that I've been enjoying cigars for a couple months now). This was a a cigar that I could've enjoyed more on account of all the downsides. The rapper kept splitting, it was burning very unevenly to the point where I had to keep relighting over and over and over. I wouldn't recommend this to a beginner. But someone who knows a thing or two and has some experience in smoking, I would recommend this to. A good smoke but with too many flaws. I was contemplating on giving this a four but I decided it to boost it up one because, it wasn't all that bad. Overall, I enjoyed it but I did not enjoy babysitting it.

For an economical solution to a Maduro Churchill, this makes for a nice option. I save these for cutting the yard on a riding mower. From one to the next, I have found that I have to either nurse them along to keep them from going out, or they tend to burn unevenly. If I happen to pick a good one, then no worries...but that is a random pick from the bundle. I store these in a humidor and have had current stock for several months. I probably will not buy these again.

The only fuss I have about these is the draw end starts to deteriorate if you're like me. I have a habit of chewing on the end. So a relight usually requires a clean cut. Otherwise, good cigar. Just keep them humid as they tend to be delicate construction.

This was a good smoke. It had a few wrapper and construction issues but nothing to trash the pack for. It is a good cigar for whenever you want a good smoke. Lasts a while and has a good flavor with a touch of bite. I would purchase again and offer some to friends who like a good size smoke with a Maduro wrapper. Would go good with a drink sitting around talking about the weeks activities or talking about the ones that got away. Enjoy.

I really enjoy dark beer and prefer a bolder smoke to accompany it but one not so harsh that it will overpower the taste of the beer. This smoke does just that it was good at first but into the second beer the smoke turned harsh and very bitter.

Got 'em for a buck each W/ free shipping. Have really enjoyed other sizes & wrappers on PDR/VLR's. The torpedos & 6X50 blue label cameroons are great. Tighter & more heft (denser?) provide for a slower burn & better draw. These were loose, burned hot & canoed. I DO believe this bundle a fluke. Will order PDR VLR's again but not this size

This is a good daily smoke, stays lit well. I typically smoke a cigar per round when I play golf, and I would rather not have to continue to relight a cigar that I set down for a minute or so, these fit the bill. Good taste, good value. Only real issues are the wrapper construction, every one of them has had some minor wrapper flaws. Not bad enough to toss them, but enough to be an annoyance.

I actually stumbled across these cigars at the Ybor City Cigar and Heritage Festival. I try to keep an eye out for cheap cigars that are "smokeable" and the PDRs were on sale at the time, so I decided to give them a go. I've tried nearly every cheapo on the market and I have to say that the PDR line, the maduro in particular, are among the best you can find for the price. The PDR Maduro is a medium to strong body smoke with a bit of leather and spice to it. Every time I order them they've arrived fresh and "smokeable", no humidification or taste issues. I smoke at an average pace and found the Churchill to last about an hour to two hours depending on what I'm doing, with an even nice burn. Really you can't go wrong with any PDR's but the Maduro in particular is a great smoke at a great price. I actually recommend it to friends.
