Handrolled in the beautiful country of the Dominican Republic by some of the most expert and skilled craftsmen in the cigar industry, the Partagas Black Label Magnifico Sungrown Toro (6" x 54) is an espresso of a cigar - dark in color, super rich in flavor, and delivers a bold, full-bodied smoke that will surprise even the most experienced connoisseur around. The Black Label line of Partagas employs Cuban-seed wrappers which are darker, heavier and richer than most wrappers because they are harvested only after they have been allowed to age longer than other wrapper leaves. The La Vega Especial binder used in the Black Label is sun-grown in the Dominican Republic to give it a deep, rich flavor of its own. To enhance the cigar's full-bodied character even further, the filler blend is a mixture of Nicaraguan Ligero and Dominican Piloto Cubano Ligero.

Please Note*Partagas has recently updated the packaging of their boxes and bands. Until the inventory is completely sold through, you may receive different packaging than what is pictured above. The blends have all remained the same, so you will still enjoy that classic Partagas flavor thousands have come to love.

I don’t know if they were stored in a very hot place or what, but the cellophane wrappers melted onto the cigars and made them stink. I threw most of them away.

It is probably the best cigar I received from Thompson. I highly recommend it if you like Sun Grown cigars. It burns great. Great flavor. I highly recommend with bullet cutter. It is full bodied. I also recommend to condition it one or two days in your humidor before to lit one up.

This is my go-to cigar. The flavor profile is amazing, the burn is a good 90 minutes and everyone I've turned this cigar onto falls in love!

These are my go to smoke. They always deliver full bodied flavor, in a well constructed cigar. Nearly perfect burning, every time.

Over the past year this cigar has gone downhill in my opinion. It was once one of my favorite daily smokes. Bold and consistent as a quality cigar should be. And at $118/box it was a pretty good deal. Now I am finding a rather large variation in burn and flavor. Something you shouldn't find in a puro that costa almost $150/box. I even went so far as to ask my tobacconist to check to see if the blend had changed and she assured me it did not. Hard to explain what the change is, but its there.

Have ordered for years. Always high quality and consistent flavor, with a slow steady burn.

I decided to switch up my Partagas purchase and bought these instead of the usual Gigante size. These have been very disappointing. Several sticks were poorly rolled, and one or two were almost unsmokeable because they burned so unevenly and bitterly. For the price, the number of rejects should be a lot lower. I had better luck with the Gigante, and will be switching back.

This is a fine tasting cigar for the price; it is bold and robust! I have smoked the blacks for about 3 years, after the 1845 purple ring cigars were discontinued. I wish Partaga would bring back the 1845; I would smoke both the black and the 1845.

For a seasoned smoker, I believe this is the best cigar for the buck. Great taste, good price and a consistent product all of the time. The best of the Black Label brand, this puro delivers a hearty smoke that one can appreciate while not breaking the bank. Very highly recommended.

While these cigars have great flavor, there are many drawbacks. Of my box of 20 almost all had a firm draw and construction issues. I found that the cap would often fall apart about half way through smoking them, and they frequently needed touch ups because of uneven burn.

If I had one complaint a couple (out of 20) did not burn evenly but that could also have partly been my fault. but great flavor in all

Super smoke that's good outdoors as well as in your smoking room. Bold flavors that are well blended, an even burn and a wonderful maduro wrapper with a sweet finish. Best everyday cigar that I have found.

Purchased the Partagas Black Label Toro for my daughters wedding. Everyone who tried the cigar enjoyed the smoking moment and made very positive comments, both the experienced and new smokers alike. Had not tried it prior myself, have added the Partagas to my cigar inventory and will make it one of my regular smokes. Just as it was advertised rich in flavor with a bold taste for a large ring cigar.
