The ONYX is my special cigar: birthday, holiday, Monday, etc. You get the picture. Anytime. It's a winner. Don't know what happened with that guy who hated it. Tragic. It's never happened to me. I'm getting the whole box, dude!

I purchased a five pack of these on the auction and could not be anymore disappointed in a cigar that is suppose to be rated 90 plus. I smoked three of the five so far and they each had hollow holes inside after the first 1/2 an inch. I could run my pipe poker up inside with no problems. This caused the cigars to burn uneven the rest of the way, causing the draw to be very hot with a lousy after taste afterwards. I had these in my humidor for 7 days before even touching them. I even bought an Onyx churchhill from a local store and had the same problem with it. I had to keep burning the long side to try and keep the burn even and not have a smoke to hot to try and enjoy. As far as I can see is there is very little quality control, and very little pride in the workers jobs. I would never buy these again and would rate them myself at less then a 70. I have several different brands in my other humidor that cost me less than a dallor a piece that I would rather have then ever smoke an Onyx again.

Wow. Onyx reserve........don't know what to say. First off Im a maduro kinda guy. It's a fantastic cigar that smells great before its lit and while its lit. The taste is really good from beginning to end. I just purchased a box of 20 and I believe Im going to purchase another one because they are just that good. I can see myself only smoking onyx reserve. I been smoking for 6 yrs now and I think I finally found a specific taste in a cigar that truly appeals to my taste buds. Onyx your the best in my book!!!!!

These were perfect. Good size and flavor. Just a perfect all the time to special occasion cigar. I also had the mini bellasols and they were excellent also. Onyx makes a great quality cigar. Also a really nice looking cigar.
