Jose Pepin Garcia and his son Jaime have undeniably mastered their craft. This is truly evident in their newest creation. The My Father Connecticut Toro consists of hand-picked Nicaraguan Corojo '99 binders and Nicaraguan Habano-Criollo fillers from their own farms. They chose a highly aromatic, specially fermented leaf to draw out the blend's signature flavor. A smooth Ecuadorian CT wrapper is the topper on this masterpiece.

I read a couple of reviews on this cigar and was pleased to find the same results. Great Smoke start to finish, anytime. Reasonably priced and even burning. Will definitely order these again. Hard to beat a My Father stick.

I am a huge fan of Connecticut wrapped cigars. I love that light, sweet, creamy, and slightly bitter flavor that is reminiscent of morning coffee. When you see that wrapper, you anticipate a super mild, morning smoke, and yet so many blends recently have come onto the market, trying to find a niche where full bodied spicy cigars can be combined with a light sweet wrapper. Pepin has succeeded with this one. I love the light, sweet smokes. Give me an Avo, Ashton, or Davidoff and I'm super happy. I also love the super strong stuff, like Padrons, Rocky Decades, and Cohiba Nicaragua's, and I'm in cigar nirvana. This is the first blend I have tried that has managed to bridge the gap and create for me what may be the perfect cigar. I'd recommend a good, long rest in the humidor, because the first two I had were not near as great as the one I am enjoying now. But they are absolutely worth the wait. So many of these "light and sweet" meets "spicy full body" cigars fail to deliver. This one does not. It's pretty close to the perfect cigar.
