I absolutely love this cigar. I've realized that Montecristo just has the right flavor and smoothness for me. I love how smooth this cigar is from the first light until the end. As you smoke past the middle you get more body and a bit more strength but still very smooth. If you like a bit more spice and kick to your cigars try the Espada also can be found in the five pack fever.

I fluctuate between dark and smooth cigars and more medium bodied cigars. This lighter cigar has surprised me to be perhaps my favorite cigar of all time! I smoke at least once a week. This cigar is very aromatic with distinctive floral and fruity notes. It reminded me of a high end cognac. I would definitely get this cigar again.

When i want a treat I'll smoke one of these. This smaller cigar smokes for at least a hour. Well made top of line cigar.

Relaxing afternoon cigar

Basically just a decent cigar. Lights easily, good draw, burns well. But very little depth of flavor. Just smoke. Not exactly a disappointment, but I will let the rest of the box age for a couple of months and try again.

This mild to medium bodied smoke is a winner. This beautifully constructed corona feels tightly rolled but draws perfectly, lights easily and did not require any re-lighting. It is a good looking cigar with a flawless, golden brown wrapper. Once lit, it developed a good white ash. The cigar was very smooth, produced clouds of creamy smoke and provided plenty of flavor and satisfaction for an afternoon smoke.

Occasional smoker, smooth smoke from start to finish. Easy draw.

Draw was horrible on 3 of the 5 sticks. One I just threw away. The other two sticks I used a draw poker and I was able to at least smoke most of the sticks. I know these are discounted in the 5 pack fever but these were not worth what I paid. The two that did draw one of them the wrapper start peeling away about an inch and a half above the cap. Not a little but a lot. Was trying to pinch it together while I smoked it. These were in my humidor for a little over 3 weeks and were properly humidified. Everything else I have ordered has been great. Will never order these again though.

Got these as a 5 pack. Good flavor but packed way too tight and could barely smoke it. Also the wrapper would crack even though it was kept at a perfect humidity. I think this particular one was made at 4:59 on a Friday because even the label was completely messed up, if I saw this in a B&M I would have thought it was a fake! Poor quality control for such a well known company.

Thought I'd give these a shot after trying one at a local cigar shop. Great mild flavor, in keeping with Connecticuts. Burned well, with a good smooth draw. I enjoyed it so much that I bought these in a 5 pack. I've only had 2, but the first one was packed so tightly I could barely draw on it. Used a Draw Poker to open it up some, but the wrapper was so fragile that it cracked apart. The 2nd one I had was much better. Very similar to one I had at the local shop, however again, the wrapper was quite fragile and started coming apart half way through. Maybe I got a bad batch, or maybe I need to let them season longer in the humi. Either way, I hope they even out. I really do like the flavor.

Nice after dinner smoke! Sitting on the patio with a nice glass of wine helps me forget about a mediocre day I've had.

Admittedly I have been leaning greatly toward stronger tasting smokes lately, but besides my initial bias, there is just nothing remarkable or memorable or individual about the flavor. It is a decent mild-flavored cigar.

I smoke about three cigars a week, not your typical cigar smoker. I enjoy smoking to relax and reflect after a difficult day. I love the aroma and the ritual of smoking.

I didn't enjoy this smoke very much at all. It was harsh, and while I did only have to light it once and it had a good draw throughout, I won't be purchasing again due to the harshness
