It may look different, but the taste is oh so familiar. Montecristo cigars are some of the most iconic cigars ever made and this cigar definitely holds character. Called the most full-bodied Montecristo yet, this Dominican made super premium cigar definitely exudes major flavor.

I am no expert, but I have been a fan of Montecristo for some time. The Montes are the best I have had to date (I do have a box of Number 2s that I have not tried, yet). I will continue to buy these as a good cigar for special days - or even every day.

I bought these thinking they were the Montes by AJ Fernandez, but they aren't. No problem - a very good smoke, similar to AJ's blends but a little lighter on the pepper. I was smoking it outside and my neighbor commented on the great fragrance. Good flavor, good puff... all good in my book. Will reorder soon.

I have been smoking this cigar before it was highly rated by Cigar Aficionado. It has great flavor that is earthy, chocolate, and coffee. I have tried many different brands of cigars. Thus one is on my short list of favorite cigars. So, I usually keep 10-20 of these on-hand.

I usually put a new batch of cigars into my humidor for a week or so to let them settle in - usually makes a pretty good difference. But the aroma coming off of these when I opened the box was just too good to wait. What a wonderful smoke - great flavor, but not an overly strong nicotine buzz. Medium seems like a fair assessment. The burn was even with an easy, but not loose draw. The ash held on solid and I never had to re-light it. Just about perfection. Can't wait to see how they'll improve with some time in the humidor - if I can manage to stay out of them.

Very uneven burn (based on one stick) which is surprising for a box pressed, explodes with (fruity) flavor from the start which in my opinion makes this a mild to full cigar, will not buy again.

I was very disappointed with the taste of this cigar. It was a faint cedar taste that never brought in other flavors and had no complexity. Overall it is a very boring cigar. If it was a $4 dollar cigar, I would have thought that I got what I paid for, but it was not.

I had one of these smokes at a cigar lounge in my city and was very happy with my decision. Not overly strong but surely had a taste. Turned a friend on to this stick already.
