Chancing upon tobacco plants thriving in an unfamiliar growing area in the Dominican Republic, Jochy rediscovered a tradition left by a Tainos tribe called Macorix, who elevated cigar making to an art form 500 years ago. The rest, as they say, is history. The Macorix Corojo Churchill is an incredible cigar carefully crafted from the tobacco seeds Jochy brought back, cultivated, and aged to absolute perfection. The resulting Macorix Connecticut is an amazing line of smooth to medium-bodied cigars that feature exceptional tobaccos including Corojo, Piloto Cubano, and Criollo '98 tobaccos garnished with an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper.
