I particularly like the torpedo style of cigar and this one is constructed well. What I don't care for is the uneven burn sometimes caused by holes left in filler when it is wrapped. That is annoying to me and it isn't just this brand but many that have this common defect. It is a great smoke otherwise.

Had a trio of young men on a hunting trip. One of the young men bagged a whitetail deer so we celebrated with JAD Grand Torpedo and a smooth shot of whiskey. Also great to share on the golf course.

A good value, take them to hunting camp if there are transportation or moisture issues while you are roughing it in the woods, not a big loss. They are a good smoke for the price and you can share with all your hunting buddies without going broke. Every hunting kit bag should have a box of 25.

The best feature of this cigar is its price. It is not a real flavorable cigar, but it stays lit, though it burns sometimes unevenly. This is not a special occasion cigar, but I do like the mildness of it. The torpedo is constructed well and the band is perfect, not overly large or poorly glued like too many cigars nowadays. Wrapper does not unravel after removing band due to tearing, an important feature.

I have enjoyed this cigar while i am driving home and it has a comming effect. This is an every day cigar, but it can become borring after the second week. Best use is to mix it up with other daily smokes.
