Good tasteful everyday smoke however does have a tendency to burn uneven and if you're in an apartment or someplace where it can be difficult to smoke I do notice that they put off a whole lot more of a smoke burn then other cigars that I have sampled great for outdoors are if you have adequate ventilation are an air purifier in your home or apartment

Very good cigar. I smoke one every day. The cigar has a good deal of smoke associated with it and smells excellent and unique. Only complaint I have is that it frequently does not burn evenly around the edges while smoking.

I have dabbled with some premium name brands, but when it comes down to it, for a great tasting everyday cigar the Hacienda Rio Oscuro Churchill's can't be beat. These have been my "go to" cigars for the last two years. Mild to medium with plenty of smoke, they have demonstrated an easy draw, acceptable wrappers and an all around pleasant long lasting smoke, at a price point that won't break the bank.

I've ordered this product many times.It does burn uneven and wrappers have a tendency to unwrap but the taste is well worth the cigar shortfall.I've smoked more expensive cigars that had similar issues and some you couldn't smoke because of stout draw.I am glad, I stumbled on this brand as I've yet to fine a better tasting cigar at this price point.I will continue to order my two to three bundles of Rio Haciendas a month as they fit my taste.I'd recommend them to a novice or hardcore aficionado.

Great cigar for an excellent price.

I've come across this brand as part of a sampler. I like it. Nice + oily. Does better in my humidor than any other cigar. Tastes better when I have the correct humidity + light it right. I'm gonna try the Churchill maduro. PS: you guy's should offer humidity pack's to assure the cigar's stay fresh on delivery. A nominal charge. For each box or bundle. Maybe for the bundle or single stick?

I keep trying different brands of cigars and I keep returning to Hacienda Rio.This has happened on 7 orders. I 've smoked several different cigars all more expensive.This is my favorite so far.

I 've ordered two-fer 4 or 5 times so out of 160 cigars I got a half dozen bads ones with construction .Rolling was inconsistant and it wouldn't draw or another time too loosely rolled and there was no draw at all.Wrapper tend to peel off as you smoke and last bunch won't burn even.Small price to pay for a great tasting cigar that allows me to enjoy two to four a day.Mine tend to last at least an hour ! I've smoked cigars that cost 3 times the price that don't have the taste of this cigar.

Words cannot express how good this cigar is. The depth of flavors is incredible. They taste great from the from the moment its lit til it burns your fingers trying to get that last tasty puff. They burn nice & even and last a nice long time. These sticks are a bargain price too.

I bought these based on these reviews. Something doesn't compute, and it leaves me wondering if they changed the recipe on these cigars. To date, I've smoked 2 churchills. One the day I received them and one after a week in the humidor. Upon lighting the cigar, they literally ignite. I mean they become a miniature torch in your hand. After extinguishing the blaze, the draw is tight and the only flavor is chemicals. Not a hint of chemical ... that's all there is. As the cigar burns a noticeable moisture ring appears just below the burn line, heavy enough that when you wipe it off, it leaves a residue I've never seen anything like it, and will not order more.

This is an excellent smoke to enjoy around a fire or while mowing the lawn.

Great product wouldn't buy anything else

My days of buying five dollar cigars are long gone, not because I'm cheap, but because over the years I've found a few dollar-plus cigars that are just as good. The Hacienda Rio, Oscuro, is one of these cigars. It's a fine cigar and like a good wine it gets better when aged properly in a humidor.

Tuesday I enjoyed a $6 R.P. Edge Maduro..nice smoke..right? Wednesday I received the Hacienda Rio, and I have to say it put the R.P. to shame. Superior light, draw & flavor that I enjoyed for an hour after I smoked it. There was a slight wrapper flaw but I forgot about that as soon as I lit it. Great daily, anytime smoke!

The one thing I like about this cigar is it's good on a budget. I got 40 Churchills for just under 50. That's $1.25 a stick and I didn't have to compromise in the quality department. Also, well constructed. They don't fall apart if you're like me and sometimes nibble the end off, rather than get out of that comfortable chair to get the cutter I'm always misplacing.

I needed an inepxensive everyday oscuro. I was skeptical of all the high ratings in the reviews. I was wrong. These are surprisingly excellent cigars. Mild and flavorful. A best buy. Really.

This is the best Thompson brand cigar I've found so far. It is a flavorful, but quite mild cigar that even a beginner can enjoy. I've smoked many $5 a stick and up cigars bet there aren't many I enjoy better than these, even taking into consideration the self satisfaction of immolating $5 to $10 smoking a good cigar.

This is a very good every day smoke that Thompson sells at a great price. As with any cigar of this kind, there will be an occasional wrapper issue. This is the exception, though, so I regard this as a great deal.

Take time out everyday to smoke a cigar.

An all around super cigar. I have chewed on and smoked cigars three times the price of the Rio Oscuro. They can't match up. Save some dough and buy this cigar. It won't disappoint.
